....were wins after falling behind, but we were never behind at HT in those. So his team-talks have never once inspired a turnaround.
I'm doing an article on Pardew - what are some of the more remarkable stats, apart from 5 defeats in a row? Is 'never winning after going behind' actually true?
Sherwood is shit but far better than Pardew. Nice noodles though....
But seriously, if Sherwood is the type of bloke to trust Ben Arfa, then I'm willing to give it a try.
That team
It takes a special kind of idiocy to play De Jong, Cisse and Shola.
But then to put Dummett CB, Anita RW and Gosling anywhere near the team is sensational. Truly outdone himself this time.
I just like them and am excited about the Messi/Aguero partnership. I've not supported England since I was a kid, so normally find weird alternatives. Plus, an Argie win get the doubters to finally agree that Messi is the best of all time.
Gameweek 35:
Tottenham 1-2 Fulham
Aston Villa 1-0 Southampton
Cardiff City 1-1 Stoke City
Newcastle 1-2 Swansea
West Ham 1-0 Crystal Palace
Chelsea 2-0 Sunderland
Norwich 1-2 Liverpool
Hull City 0-1 Arsenal
Everton 2-2 Man Utd
Man City 2-1 West Brom
This weekend needs to seal it:
Chelsea vs Sunderland
Cardiff vs Stoke
Norwich vs Liverpool
If Chelsea plus either Cardiff or Norwich win, I'd say that'll almost be it. Fulham vs Hull is soon after too.
