  1. Not even a panic bid from us for Ince I've no idea why we're away from him, maybe he's radioactive.
  2. It's not a great fee anyway, but like fuck do I want to lose anyone else right now. Cisse, Obertan, Shola......we need you all. What a desperate situation this is.
  3. Harsh for us if we lose the Cabaye chant AND "Catts for me, like" in the same week.
  4. De Jong mightn't be match fit, doesn't know the PL and mightn't be that good. But if it's him or Shola, I'd pick De Jong every single time. At least he can move.

With an agreement to sell Cabaye in January, you'd have thought the club would identify players who actually want to join. How did we let it get to this?
  6. Edin Dzeko? Why would City do that? He's an important player anyway, then Aguero got hurt again last night.
  7. Holtby and Ince are infuriating transfers to miss out on.

Just one more offer, please. That should do it. But its never that easy with this regime.

Pardew's comments and this supposed asking price are positives, I guess. Maybe theyll accidentally sign him.

New poll: will NUFC go up to £11m?
  11. Whey the logic was sound - they kept another clean sheet

I reckon there's one more bid coming but probably not enough to get him. Which is pathetically predictable.

    Sunderland

Was wondering when they'd start getting tough games again and - after they play us and Hull - it's Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool away. They've had momentum one way, I hope that'd finally set it the other way.
  14. How tired did they look tonight? Just so I can judge how embarassing the roll over will be....
  15. First week of Aguero, he's gone off injured. Sunderland keeping clean sheet but Bardsley got booked and subbed at HT, so zero points. Every week this bullshit happens

Deja vu and yet - for some reason - I continue getting my hopes up.
  17. Can nickname him Clem too, we're all winners here. http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/euro2008/img/author/large/mark_clemmit.jpg
  18. Ahhh there's the token bid, along with later accusations of Lyon "moving the goalposts" or something.
  19. "Make a move" isn't that encouraging with this regime.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Alonso struggled with Januzaj's trickery last week, it's definitely worth exploiting. Ideally Gouffran's work rate could go against Bardsley, who likes to get forward, but I guess he's our best choice up front because - unlike Shola - he can move about.

    Sunderland

Not that it'll happen, but if Stoke beat them tomorrow there's a nice gap opening up. Making that gap worse is something to aim for on Saturday.
  22. 36 from Szczesny, Ward, Ozil, Rodriguez and Captain Suarez. A nice haul but still don't know who to bring Mata in for - Ozil or Silva.
  23. If Pardew told me the grass was green I'd double-check. His words mean nothing.
  24. Defeat for us, without doubt. No Cabaye replacement, woeful performance, defeat and 90 mins of Wembley chants.....as grim as it gets tbh. And that's realism, not pessimism. Deeply regret getting tickets to this but will still cheer the lads on. Krul Debuchy Williamson Taylor Santon Sissoko Tiote Anita Ben Arfa Shola Gouffran .......at least De Jong has the unknown factor for O'Shea and Brown, whereas they probably laugh at Shola. Regardless, there's barely any attacking options there. 0-2
