  1. Their next 4 games are Swansea (a), Hull (a), Cardiff (h), Norwich (a). They can't waste any more time if they think there's someone better.
  2. Hendo has already come out as a Sunderland fan, which mustve been tough.
  3. Would be huge, if true. I guess all these recent sportsmen have inspired him, which is fair play. He'll probably start a rush.
  4. GW 29 West Brom 0-2 Man Utd Cardiff 1-2 Fulham Crystal Palace 1-1 Southampton Norwich 1-0 Stoke Chelsea 3-0 Tottenham
  5. Fair enough, you can be a nice guy manager but you must be at least competant tactically. Hughton doesnt even have that. Would go for a drink with him though

A mate on facebook - a good lad - said "I'm not being biased but we have the best fans in the country". Everyone would be loud at Wembley, like. Maybe some of their normal fans are alright (apart from the racism) but the thousands of pink seats don't say or do much. So yeah....I think he's slightly biased.

Aye, fair play to Hendo. I fully expected him to turn out like Carroll and Downing did but he's accidentally bloomed into a decent player.

    Remy Cabella

He's so blunt about the truth. If I was Cabella, I'd avoid this club too. He's right about MYM too - he's better than this.
  9. Fulham and Cardiff gone, with Sunderland or Palace to join them. All hinges on their game at the SoL.
  10. Doubt they'd be willing to loan him, either.
  11. 45 minutes from the end of the world. City are a fucking disgrace, this is a predictably embarassing 'performance'.
  12. C'mon Aguero!!! I'd have went with Navas but Nasri is a decent option too. Right to go with Dzeko over Negredo too. This is a blatant Sunderland 1-0 from a set piece, after soaking pressure all game. Silva to miss a sitter.
  13. Chelsea because I dont trust Man City and Arsenal will choke. Liverpool are interesting but wont quite win it.

I know theyre at a cup final and we'd be happy too but they're doing my head in with all this super-cringeworthy stuff. It's gonna be a long long day, with social media to be avoided whatever the outcome. This might sound nasty but I just hate seeing mackems happy. I'm convinced they'll win too, it's in the air
  15. I didn't see the incident, never visit this thread and don't even watch our matches anymore. I know this post will get lost in the crowd but I just want to share my delight that he's done this, my gratitude to David Meyler and I sincerely hope Pardew gets every punishment possible thrown at him. And the sack? Probably not but dreams sometimes come true, y'know. A night of celebration

Last night I unfollowed mackems on twitter because this is getting too much for me. All these scarves, flags, cheesy chips down Wembley way, Wearside pride and D:Ream. Fuck the lot of 'em and I hope they get demolished on Sunday (even though they wont).
  17. Everton 1-1 West Ham Fulham 1-3 Chelsea Hull 1-0 Newcastle Stoke 0-1 Arsenal Southampton 2-3 Liverpool A.Villa 0-1 Norwich Swansea 1-1 C.Palace Tottenham 3-0 Cardiff

Remember the huge forum 'reverse psychology bet' that ensured Swansea won at Wigan last season? Fancy a repeat? I've put my £10 on......

Selling merchandise in Chester-le-Street now. Fucking hell :(

Was fucking depressing walking through Sunderland today, more so than normal. They've got flags, banners etc all over. Lots of people seeling merch on the streets, personalised bins (which is apt). Ergh! Shame that cups dont matter though....

Huge result for Norwich today, who have good games coming up. It's all about that Palace game.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Unfortunately it wont affect the game in any way if one seventh of our bench is hurt. Pardew has lost an innocent scapegoat though. Poor Hatem
  23. My lass had a strange one last week. It was a World Cup match where whenever the ball went in the crowd, the ref waved played on. So players would have to find the ball and kick it onto the pitch from wherever it landed. Fans were being kicked in the head, blood everywhere. Gruesome scenes. Then, when the camera came back to the pitch, the Scotland players had swords. One of them had an eye patch. My reply was that the strangest part of the dream was Scotland being at the World Cup!
