I'm starting to get optimistic for this. Am I crazy? Just think that with 'clear the air' talks and the reaction to Saturday, we might get something. A siege mentality, perhaps. Pardew is a desperate man so he might finally adapt other tactical ideas as a last throw of the dice. Our defence will look much better with Colo back and if we play with a high line again, Carroll wont punish us like Sturridge did. I dunno....maybe I've lost the plot.

I can't get over that Mourinho clip ITV should be pulled from the air.

Foreshadowing where Pardew will force him to play next season.

2014/15 NUFC Kits - New third kit revealed on page 143

Think this is the summer I'll finally get a vintage top. Probably that lush 94 one. -
He's definitely here for the next few weeks, man. Although I do think he'll go once the season ends.

5 games in 15 days does look a tough task for Wigan but by the time it takes it's toll - the Man City and Arsenal games - they could easily have 4 or 6 points. They just need a good start to the run.

2014/15 NUFC Kits - New third kit revealed on page 143

Compared to the last 5 or 6 home shirts, I dont think this one is too bad. I'll never like the white patch on the back and there's too much blue but I expected worse. But those 2nd and 3rd kits are beyond horrific. -
Its strange but I'm feeling better about things today. I just think we'll squeeze the win from somewhere. Keep going back and forth though.
-
Mixed XI would only have Debuchy, Ben Arfa & Cisse but we'd dominate the subs bench with Cabaye, Colo, Krul, Santon, MYM and maybe Sissoko there.
-
My hope is that we've set a high price based on talent, a price others wont pay due to his injuries. I properly love Hatem though, every day just seems to get worse and worse right now.

My mate is a QPR fan and he's guaranteed that they'll roll over for us, without doubt. I told him how spineless our performances have been and he said it doesnt matter, we'll just have to show up. Hmmm.

They were talking about that same sequence of events on The Guardian's podcast today: Mourinho comes to England, Ancelotti to Real Madrid, Wenger to PSG, Jogi Low to Arsenal, Heynckes to coach Germany.

Nixon mate, you should write for a living

Carroll's thick but even he must know that if we stay up, he'll probably re-sign for us.
-
Is he the type that'd punch a horse?

To slightly distract me from latest events, I've had my first class FPL week in ages. This week I got 85pts thanks to Captain Benteke (34), Sturridge (14), RvP (8), Walcott (8) and a couple of clean sheets. Rising up the leagues!

Although 'dressing room splits' always sound bad and are a staple of relegation, these are doing it for the right reasons. It actually shows they care and want to win, yet they're held back by Pardew's tactics. If Pardew gets scared and backs off a bit - gives them what they want - this might be beneficial in the short term. Might just be enough.

Must say, it comforts me slightly when outsiders say we'll be fine. But, really, it's just guesswork isnt it? I just think back to Saturday and get crushed again.
-
Elliot Simpson Taylor Colo Anita Sissoko Tiote Cabaye Jonas Cisse Shola ....is what I think we'll see. Leaving all of our talent (HBA, Marveaux, Gouffran) on the bench. High defensive line, Colo to organise things, Jonas to help Anita. However, there's not a lot of attacking optimism there.
-
We still have to care enough to score.
-
but how fit is he? Not a fan of his hair, personally.
-
It's all about the Colo. With him replacing MYM we get Prem experience, organisation and a better defensive line. I'm hoping and praying it makes a big difference.

There is no way I can survive til Saturday
-
Yes. Genuinely. How many Wigan fans would swap places with you? All of them. You're a good man

Brummie, still think we're staying up?
