Bimpy is just making it more heartbreaking when we don't get Montanier in. He ticks almost every box but we know it won't happen.

Does Diame still have that £3.5m release clause? I'd love to go in for him.
-
Under normal circumstances, Rafa would definitely come here. It's just working under the Ashley regime that could put him off - signing for Mike means you're signing away your dignity and Rafa has too much confidence in himself for that.

Get a young, innovative manager that encourages attacking football and brings a breath of fresh air to the place. A tactically smart man that takes no shit, a man with a vision and a man with redeemable features. When we go to teams like Man City, we don't sit back and wait to lose. A man that relishes working at such a massive club and genuinely wants to take us to greatness. Does this person exist?

Just getting rid of Pardew would raise performances tbh, we don't need a caretaker.
-
I'd laugh but right now I hate all football. I'm sure he'll find a way to beat us with that shower of shit.
-
Just because he wasn't sacked last night doesn't mean it's not coming tomorrow. For all we know, there might be an emergency board meeting where they're scrambling for replacements/ideas. As much as he has to go, the club need to know what the next step is.

Stojkovic was an interesting shout, actually. I'm warming to that option. My list is Stojkovic, Martinez, Benitez, Montanier and Pellegrini. I'd love to say Montanier was realistic but, if we aren't scouting Spain for players, we're probably not aware of him

Carver has worked under Pardew and Sir Bobby, so I don't know which playing style he advocates. But I'd risk putting him in charge for the final three. Will it work? Don't know, but I know that sticking with Pardew won't.
-
I really rate him but I think he's gone in the summer, regardless of our division. Pardew just doesn't rate talented players that want the ball.
-
Normally I'd not suggest that professionals would throw the game, but Carroll & Nolan know what a defeat here would do to us. They love the club. For Carroll, he's probably coming back home if we stay up, which is what he wants. Just sayin'

Winning? what's that? Putting the ball inside that kind of rectangular net at the end of the field more times than your adversary during 90 minutes. Nope, still don't follow you.....

I'll feel slightly better if Sunderland beat Villa tbh. But it's guaranteed that Villa will beat them, just like any other time we want a favour.

There weren't any.

I think Pardew's going once the season ends, we just have to pray it's after survival. Ashley will be shit scared right now - Pardew may be a buddy but you dont get where Ashley is without being ruthless. Given a choice between serious amounts of money and loyalty, he'll always pick the money. He won't want this to happen ever again.

Taylor-Colo is a proven Prem pairing and right now that's what we need. Don't fuck around.

We actually lost 6-0....it still doesn't sound right. Furious but trying to do whatever I can to forget. So I browse the forum

Looking at how we reacted to relegation last time, we got so lucky. So many clubs disappear into oblivion but we bounced back straight away, making some great progress and having a great infrastructure. We have a transfer policy people are jealous of, we've added stability and our finances are improving. On the pitch we finished 5th last season, had a great run in Europe and have some fantastic individuals playing for us - it's amazing to think that Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Debuchy, Cisse, Santon etc are here. It's almost like the relegation didn't happen, as we effortlessly got back where we belong. So to be in this great position 12 months ago and to see we're on the verge of throwing it all away is depressing. These coveted internationals - in demand from all over Europe - are being wasted here. Our stranglehold in France will disappear. All of this progress, all of these memories and banishing our demons....gone. My fear is that if we go down again, we won't be as lucky. I fear we'd be gone for a while. Cheers, Alan

Really don't know how anybody can defend him. It's driving me crazy, nearly as much as Pardew himself is. People on here mock and bash Pardew for his godawful excuse making and constant attempts to pour cold water on expectations with depressing negativity - but the fact is for the majority it seems to be working. People have lapped up the Europe, injuries etc excuses. A successful brainwashing campaign has given a shite manager untouchable status amongst a large section of the fanbase. Fucking unreal. If blindly backing the manager as he guides us towards relegation is the virtues of the level-headed matchgoing fan then I think I'd rather be with the social media mentalists who want the cunt gone. As I said earlier - tell a lie often enough and people start to believe it. By constantly peddling these excuses, a lot of it is sticking. Brainwashing, like you said

This mightn't be the time for this but I can only see Elliot, Taylor, Willo, Haidara, Perch, Bigi, Jonas, Gouffran & Shola staying. It's unlikely we'd come straight back up. Can't believe it has come to this
-
The players emphatically gave up on him today and Llambias now knows that. We all do. The anti-Pardew minority has now become the overwhelming majority but I fear that 3 games left is too late.
-
His tactics contradict our players. When they dont work, he persists with them. He can't change his ways and is wasting the quality players we have here. Based on today we clearly don't do defensive work in training. There's no attacking movement either. Or set pieces. Even fitness is debatable because we keep getting muscle injuries. So what exactly DOES happen in training?

I think they'll get 7pts from that. We really need Sunderland to beat Villa tomorrow.
