  1. We are so lucky to experience Ronaldo and Messi at the same time. So, so lucky.
  2. First match is Man United (a), Sunderland in November & April, Wigan (a) on Boxing Day and a difficult away day to end the season. Probably.
  3. Luckily theres a scenario where nobody is happy: Spurs get 5th (Harry geet loves that Europa!!) and Liverpool miss out on Europe. And the opposite is now happening....
  4. The Giggs stuff is still on here though, isn't it?
  5. Honestly, Rondon is exactly what we need. And he's a very realistic, affordable target.....he has to be near the top of the list!
  6. We'll know more about his intentions during the lap of honour after the West Brom game. All from the N-O Body Language department will need to be on call.
  7. The fact that Pardew has even mentioned dropping him means theres no going back. He knows it'd be silly not to.

    Sunderland...

    That would be class!
  9. I hope Spurs win at Anfield, thats how bad its getting!
  10. Thats a quarter of a Carroll. A sixth of a Torres! Poor Dortmund
  11. From the back its nice but from the front its putrid. I'm scared of seeing it in person. Goalie top is nice though.
  12. In: Kevin Gameiro (£8m) Cheikh M'Bengue (£6m) Douglas (£4.5m) Stephen Ireland (£4m) Dale Jennings (£0.5m) Seb Larsson (Free) Jay Bothroyd (Free) Spend £23m Out: Jose Enrique (£10m) Sol Campbell (Free) Wayne Routledge (£2m) Haris Vuckic (loan) Nile Ranger (loan) Income £12m Theres loads of quality players I'd like us to sign though, obviously. Despite only £11m net spend, that's an OK summer for us.
  13. Is Kyle Walker making the step up the first choice RB when he returns to Spurs?
  14. Even more of a reason to get Douglas from Twente.
  15. I don't think the Europe thing comes into it much, to be honest. Were they even playing in the Europa League when they signed Modric, for example? The thing with their good signings is not that they've attracted them on the basis of the fact they're Tottenham - in that respect, they're going to struggle, as they don't offer mega wages and they're not one of the largest clubs - the key point is that they identified them and went out and got them. They've signed some decent players. Their problem, I think, will be that their players have now tasted the CL - a decent chunk of it, too - and that is something of a double edge sword, as the players will want more, and anything that happens next season is going to be a bit of a let down by comparison. As for the Europa League, I honestly think most players would prefer not to be involved in that at all. My prediction of doom for Spurs next season, though, is based as much on "because that's exactly the sort of thing that happens to Spurs" as it is on rational evidence, mind. Great post. I made that point about Europa League about a week ago but apparently i was wrong. No one gives 2 shits about that lame competition (well players i mean). It's champions league or nothing in their minds. Shows how much the Europa League needs and overhaul, they should cut down the teams in it, and make it knockout from the start. Or something like that. Straight knockout was great. Theres absolutely no appeal in a meaningless group match at home to Bulgaria's finest (not even that!). It took an impressive amount of effort to mess up that competition in such a short timespan. And the name change was stupid too.....it'll always be UEFA to me.
  16. Sanchez and a couple of defenders >>> Fabregas
  17. I want to see them both go up for a header and get their curls tangled. Would love to see Derek Wright and Chelsea's physio standing their with Afro-combs and detangling spray trying to separate them. It'll be like velcro
  18. Norwich are going right back down. They seem lovely but it's gone too fast for them. And if Blackpool stay up they'll go just as quickly (hopefully).
  19. Wonderful attack by Man U there. Lovely to watch.
