  1. Haven't they got phone calls to be spying on?
  2. Balla-gay is an Espanyol fan, like. Aye that plays a role, but he was going crazy about how great Mourinho's new system from last night (Alonso, Khedira AND Lass) and that everything seems to have clicked for them now. Conversely, he says Barca's post-WC tiredness is finally starting to show and they've ran out of defenders too. The first game after the internationals is away to Villarreal too. Interesting viewpoint, but I still reckon it'll be Barcelona.
  3. At Sky Sports. Guillem Balague has bet a decent amount of money that Real will overtake Barca and win the league. Kluivert sticks with Barca. The presenter has joined in on it too.
  4. ramires has been in the wrong position all along!
  5. all the money in the world and this is what city dream of? what a letdown. at least show some ambition in matches!
  6. Thats the universal expression for 'extreme repulsion'. I don't blame the cunt.

    Sunderland...

I hear the Premier Reserve League is highly regarded over there.
  8. Tevez, Berbatov and Best were my strikeforce this weekend wish these last minute injuries would stop, although its been a decent weekend thanks to Coleman, Adam, Nani © and Huth.

    Sunderland...

Its OK until you see that stupid diagonal stuff above the name. at the end of the day, theres only so many things you can do with stripes.

I'd gone to the cashpoint at the time. Didn't see him. ah right. was probably for the Best.
  11. How humiliating. What a pathetic mess

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Pardew didn't want to risk another injury in what should've been a dull end to the season. At what point does he change his mind? It's mighty close down here....

Me, WarrenBartonCentrePartin and Georgios Georgiadis (the user, not the player) thought we saw Best in Baby Lynch's last night, even though he was expected in Stoke. Obviously it was him. Couldn't see Ireland though. We weren't near the coast.....
  14. done a predictor (if there is such thing, the way this season has gone!!!) and theres a nice mix of shock scores and realistic ones. a few observations: - wigan have a lot of away games to come - blackpool have 4 home games in a row (thanks to the opening day switcharoo with wigan) - wolves and villa have canny games - blackburn could really get into trouble here FINAL TABLE: 11 Aston Villa (45pts) 12 Wolves (42) 13 Blackpool (42) 14 Newcastle (41) 15 West Ham (41) 16 Blackburn (41) 17 Fulham (40) 18 Birmingham (40) 19 West Brom (39) 20 Wigan (39)
  15. I don't want to get depressed all night with this, so instead of reading through the thread, can somebody briefly sum the game up please? Was 4-0 harsh on us? Who was good? Who was bad? Any injuries? Any reason to be optimistic? Thanks. I was at work for all of it so only know the score.
  16. Time and time again over the years, we've lost this type of game and I think its nailed on we will again. 0-1. I'd be absolutely shocked if we got anything from this, sadly (and thats with a realistic head, rather than a 'doom & gloom' one).
  17. Ultimately we won't go down because theres loads of teams down there and we're too good (yeah, yeah i know....) The way a promising season has spectacularly went downhill is concerning, but we'll scrape 5 or 6 points to finish 14th-16th. But look at the table.....things are very scary, especially after we lose to Wolves.
  18. Man United's star player is an idiotic, ogre-like charver who likes boning grannies.
  19. Europe League draw: Porto vs Spartak Moscow Benfica vs PSV Villarreal vs Twente Braga vs Dinamo Kiev Benfica/PSV vs Braga/Kiev Porto/Spartak vs Villarreal/Twente I pick Porto or Kiev to win it.
  20. Real-Barcelona (if it happens) will be fascinating. Mourinho's not an idiot - he'll have learnt a lot from 5-0 and theres two more meetings in the meantime. He'll also be armed with the knowledge of how to beat them over 2 legs (although Real can't pull off what Inter did). Very nervous about that potential semi, although still hope they demolish Spurs!
  21. With Gervinho in, we could attempt the 4-3-3/4-5-1 that Mourinho's Chelsea played. Despite Gervinho and Ben Arfa being different players to Duff and Robben, it would give us a solid midfield but an exciting attack. Just a thought.
  22. Carroll looks awkward when he runs and kicks. Very gangly. But absolutely chuffed he hasn't scored yet.
