Unfortunate for Carsley. Tries something new in a game that's ripe for experimenting, doesn't work and thatll be that for him probably.
  3. Wades into a thread trying to pull someone up in the most smarmy way possible but misses the point entirely, then admits he doesnt have a clue because he doesnt live here. Absolute Reddit behaviour.
  4. Could do with him picking up a few decent results tbh. Ideally want him to stumble on as long as possible because I have 0 faith in him making them a force again.
  5. The Premier League aren't half making an arse of running this league like
  6. I actually thought our general play was the best it's been away all season. Albeit against a shite side. It was the final ball and finishing that was poor. Not having a striker has cost us though. That's the top and bottom of it and that lies with those incharge of our transfer business - whoever that may be. Going into the season relying on Isak, who's injury record is patchy at best and Callum Wilson who is a complete and utter waste of time is ridiculous and it's come back to bite us. That's without considering the time wasted trying to pay 70m for Guehi, who's looked woeful all season.

There's a happy medium though. A third choice striker who is actually able to step onto the field would be better than literally nothing right now. All ties in with an abysmal transfer window.

Sorry but what was the point in signing this cunt? Villa got Duran for a similar fee and he was able to contribute last season. Can't even get on the pitch when we literally don't have a striker.
  9. Every game that transfer window where we've signed nobody looks even more criminal.
  10. October now and he's still nowhere to be seen, despite being injured in the summer. Can't wait till he leaves so he's not even a consideration anymore.
  11. Been the better side. No striker costing us again. Balls into the box not being attacked, wingers hitting the byline and nobody making that run.
  12. Enjoying Palace having a honking start. Get it up ye
  13. The least ive ever seen a goal celebrated like. It was quite pathetic. I was stood at the back of the Gallowgate most of the game. Was better than sitting, thats for sure.
  14. The best game i've ever been to and probably ever will. Unreal.
  15. This is it, hopefully they beat Villa at the weekend and he continues to stumble on. Want him there as long as possible
  16. My order of preference: New Stadium where we are/Leazes Park New Stadium at the arena site Expand SJP New stadium at another site
  17. Tough shite. You've knowingly bought a ticket in the safe standing.
  18. That's fair enough and there's an argument that a bigger capacity trumps all. The capacity question isn't going anywhere either. I don't even think 60k is really enough. We might be somewhat riding the crest of a wave now but the demand isnt going anywhere. Demographics have changed, going to the football is very much a family day out these days. More women go than ever, in particular men go with their partners - this was less the case even 15 years ago. The prestige of going to watch Newcastle and football in general plays a bigger role. All of these things, coupled with the fact we're an ambitious club means the demand for tickets is going to be way higher than even 60k for the foreseeable imo.
  19. It doesn't, it's purely my opinion. I think, the ability to design the stadium how they want, bringing everything from matchday food and drink under the NUFC umbrella would be too enticing commercially. That would trump and notion of the club being tied to the city centre. Its the way football is going. The ongoing corporatisation / making it more like the US sports experience. Whatever you want to call it. Build it and they will come is the top and bottom of it though. They'll still fill it, it'll be more commercially viable and people will lap it up.
  20. If we move, it won't be city centre. That'll kill a large part of the club and city for me.
