I'm not talking about his pass completion rate. I accept that he's got a decent amount of assists. I just think he wastes a lot of the ball. Hes more than capable of delivering a wonderful cross but I don't think that mitigates the amount of passes/crosses/possession that he wastes. Im not giving him shit per se, but I think we've needed a starting upgrade for a while on the right if we want to kick on to the next level. It was supposed to be Elanga but it's not.

Thought it was his poorest game for us, yet he still shows some great touches and grafts hard. He does need to be stronger in holding the ball up, but why does he never seem to get into scoring positions that often? Is it the service? The movement? He looks like he could do with some rotation, but we have nobody else until Wissa is fit.

The most frustrating thing about him is that it means Jacob Murphy is still first choice and we have to endure him giving the ball away countless times every match. The weakest link out of the lot. Baffling signing that we could really have done with getting right.

It's a good job this iteration of our team isn't defending that lead against Liverpool in the final. It'd have finished 3-2 to them.
