Watched the 11/12 season review recently. The winning run surrounding that game was probably peak Pardew. What his 'tactics' can bring if everything else magically falls into place. Look at that side though. Ba, Cisse, Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Coloccini all at their zenith with us. When you've got talented players you can afford to carry less talented hardworking players like Perch, Williamson, Jonas etc. like that team did. How many of our players would get into that team now? Lascelles and maybe Merino. We're miles away in terms of quality.

We played with 451 the entirety of last season. Even when folk were calling out for two strikers he played a cautious 451. Why the fuck has he suddenly changed to 442 in a tougher league. We're not more open or fluid, we're still utterly bereft of creativity. Why change and persist with this, at least with playing a 5 man midfield we might dominate in there and force an opening. It's baffling.

It's been absolutely done to death but surely Mitrovic offers more than this fucking chump. I understand that Rafa has his systems but fuck me, it's hardley working with this cunt like. He's never even showed a glimmer of class really, it's abundantly clear he's fucking shite and has been for pretty much all of his career.
