Finishing is definitely something that can be improved, and often improves amongst forwards. Of course, sometimes it doesn't. One example is Suarez, i remember he wasted a load of chances in his younger days/first season at Liverpool. Obviously he worked at it and became one of the most clinical strikers in the world*. *Not comparing Suarez to Mitro before anyone has a stroke, just using it as an example as to how finishing can be improved.

First chance is a good of a miss as any. Clean through with a good aim at goal. Its a decent stop but he should be scoring those. Having said that, I do think the goals will come soon enough.

Pardew is hardly some calculated super villain here. Infact, there is nothing calculated about him. He's cringeworthy, foolish and rash which is largely why he's a shit football manager. It's a fair point over estimating Defoe's value. If I was Sunderland I wouldn't even sell for 30M. His goals have and will keep them up. With Swansea and Hull appointing new managers, they're going to need Defoe's goals. He's a good a player as they've ever had since winning promotion. If they were to hypothetically sell for 20/30M and reinvested it in a striker, there's no guarantee that a 30M striker would hit the ground running or chip in with more goals than Defoe. Dont replace Defoe and the relegation will cost you millions more than the money West Ham would pay. West Ham need to look elsewhere because it would be mental for both parties to work out a deal here.
