I tell you what I wish the level 7 lot would stfu about. "your support is fucking shit". It was sang 3 fuckin times against West brom, while an ultra fast paced version of The blaydon races with the wrong words was sang only once. It's embaressing because we sing it to the likes of plymouth who brough a fair few.

His downturn in form seemed to co-incide with his Ankle injury, after a tackle by none other that horrible smoggy cunt Cattermole.

I still like him, he oozed of class here, is this deffinately happening? Cracking player when here. Was fantastic. Hasnt done to well at Villa mind, they hate him.

Their Defence is fucking wank as it is, signing this cunt wont do them any favours. A waste of 2M. 4 Points off the drop. 10 Games without a win and being sucked into a relegation battle. Their begining to lose patience with thier geordie manager. It would he hillarious if the Judas cunt took them down having spent 40M or whatever Not going to happen like, despite their shitness, there are more shittier teams than them.

It's not just about the defence is it. It's also about the midfield and the forwards. If you've got a midfield and a forward line that constantly give the ball away putting the Defence under massive pressure your going to get nowhere, regardless of the defence. It's obvious that our defence is the best aspect of our team, our record in the elague supports this. However with a midfield like ours constantly giving the ball away and not giving the defence enough protection then the defence will always buckle under the pressure. With a decent midfield that can keep possession and create a few chances to keep the pressure off the defence then that back 4 is more than fine, but under constant pressure there is going to be problems with any defence.

Thanks for that, Mr. Hansen.

Come on, to say Keegan didnt turn things around is silly. It's bleeding obvious that we started playing better football under Keegan and thus eventually started winning games. Allardyce had a tough run of games to come before he was sacked and we wern't too far off the drop as it was. I'm all for showing faith and getting behind our managers but Allardyce simply had to go, it's weather Keegan despite turning it around was the right man to replace him is the real question.

It all depends what system you want to play, if you want your wingers to cut inside then you change them around but this only tends to be used in 4-3-3 formations from what i've seen. However if you want your winger to work as an old fashioned wide midfielder then he goes outside and whips crosses in.

As much as I hate him and his fat heed he's got a point. When he took them over about a year and a bit ago they were 2nd bottom. They're now 12th and have reached the semi finals of a cup competition. What are they're complaining about? They're making progress ffs! However that dosent go to say his time here wasnt a disaster, I dont mind Long ball football IF it works but using Alan Smith as a target man was never ever going to work. He came here and tried to use his tactics from Bolton, that would have been fine if we had the palyers to implement it, but we blatently didnt, I mean he didnt even attempt to buy players to suit his tactics, Rozenhal, Geremi and Barton arnt players you would expect to see him buying if he wants to play the phsyical long ball game. I doubt he would have taken us down but but we were getting sucked into a relegation battle and you could see the players had lost all confidence and morale, hence in my opinion why we got stuffed off Man utd and it took Keegan 10 games or whatever to win a game.

Nobby Solano signs for Leicester City until the end of the season
Doctor Zaius replied to Weznufc's topic in Football
I'd love to see him back. If only for 6 month. One of the best players of the Robson era and a great servent to the club, it would be great to show our gradtidude once more. Obviously he wouldnt bring a great deal to the side but I'd rather see Nobby in the black and white once more than Pancrate. Hughton looks like he dosent want to bring LuaLua through yet so I dont see why Nobby would be that bad of an option. He might not have the magic but for old times sake at least. -
Is anyone actually suprised it didnt materialise?

Have .com's "Private source" ever got anything correct before?

I like Savage, I like his style of play, love a player like that. He'll fight for the cause, and he cares. A good player a few year ago and from what I've seen of him he seems like a decent guy. Mind I can see why people dont like him.
-
I'm sure gogonileranger was actually him.

Basically there has been some right mong having a pop at him on twitter, arguing all sorts with him. Also Bents obviously went onto their forum which is populated by mongs and isnt happy at some of the comments hence that "tweet" Largerstedt posted from him. Here's hoping he carries on reading the SMB, wont do his confidence the world of good.

Exactly, and even then goals might not be gurantee'd. The fact is any striker we sign is going to be a gamble. With the amount of money we've got availible you simply aren't going to get a proven goalscorer, therefore any buy will be a risk, you've just got to hope it pays off. A lot of it is pot luck I suppose.
-
Yes, Oy indeed. I've met him a few times when I was a junior Referee. He actually reffed a match I was playing in a few month back, I know it was only an under 19's match but he was spot on for everything, spoke really well too. Hope he goes far, it's just a shame thats another quality ref along with Clattenburg that wont be able to ref us.

It would be far better if they scrapped Manish, Claridge and the bint jibbering on and just showed highlights. Those three bring nothing to the show and with the time saved from cutting those out the highlights could be a little longer.

Remember watching Rothen for Monaco in the season they got into the CL final and he was suberb, looked excellant and seemed like he was destined to move on to bigger things, eventually he signed for PSG and it seems to have gone downhil from their. My Rangers supporting mate reckons he's crap too.

IF we get him: It will be interesting to see weather he can cope if we go up next season. It will certainly be a massive step up for him from league 1 to the premier league with just half a season in the championship inbetween. Obviously he'll not be banging them in like he was for Leeds but hopefully he can cut the msutard and chip in with a fair few goals. I've never really had the chance to watch him to often but I wonder what his chance to goal ratio is like, is he a good finisher? or does he waste a lot of chances? From what I've seen of him he looks bright, lively and more importantly; pacey. However we never seem to exploit teams using pace, we never seem to get in behind teams when Lovenkrands plays, Martins never did either though weather he was as quick as he wassupposed to be remains to be seen. Had a look on a few Leeds forums and the general consensus seems to be that he's not good enough for the premier league, he's disloyal and Leeds are bigger than Newcastle anyway. Typical Leeds fans

I like Nolan. Ok he might be overweight, he might have been shocking last season and he might always be out on the drink but he comes across as a really good guy. He loves his celebrations infront of the fans too. He's turned himself around this season imo and he's become a likeable guy and player again.
