  1. Should have had a pen, and Kamara should have been either sent off with a straight red or a subsequent second yellow. Obviously we got neither. Blatant, aye? I'd say the straight red was contentious, but if that wasn't a straight red then he definitely should have had a second yellow for the over the top shoulder barge on Kenedy. Grabbed Kennedy by the throat.

  3. Google Ads have a daily budget set usually, so if it were to max out, it should reset the next day. It's possible (although unlikely) that Google have detected fraud. I work for a gym chain, and we have a number of club staff who (despite our best efforts) click on our paid ads out of laziness when going to sign people up. We've never had any warnings of click fraud at all, so I think it's unlikely click fraud would have detected on this scale. Given how Ashley works, I'd imagine we're under quite a lot of scrutiny (being on a public forum). It wouldn't surprise me if Keith Bishop has instructed the ads be disabled until this "blows over". Alternatively, they could just have stopped them in the North East and continued running them elsewhere. You can put exclusion limits in place to a high degree of accuracy, so it could be blocked in Newcastle, Co. Durham etc quite easily. Would also explain why you're not getting ad results connected via Hong Kong.
  4. I know this type of thing happens a lot, but it's the first time I've actually seen it favour us. Normally you'll find a passing seagull which interfered with the referee's eyesight, so even though Mitrovic was booked, it gets upgraded to a four match ban. With an extra match for the hassle of having to look at it.
  5. Back walking on a treadmill 6 days post-op. That's pretty damn good, isn't it?
  6. Worth remembering Newcastle are in the top 20 revenue generating clubs in the world...
  7. Makes an absolute mockery of our transfer policy. It's utterly pathetic.
  8. Name a player not in the starting 11 who has made an impact at the tournament?! That's why.... We are in the semi final I simply don't understand why people think Shelvey would fit into what we have done. We defend on the front foot with a lot of sprinting and recovering, there's no way in hell Shelvey would be any good In such a setup. It's thinking like this is why we've failed for so many years, we finally have a team and people are trying to think of ways to mess it up. I think the Tunisia game and spells of the Colombia game they were crying out for him. On top, decent share of possession, needed something different to unlock.
  9. They'll need to pay of the capitalisation of the drain pipes at the training ground instead, or something.
  10. Totally agree. I think it sometimes makes it more difficult for players coming through who deserve to, if it's tainted with a perception they're there because the club is desperate.
  11. As much as we need new signings, I'd love to see some youth come through. Heard good things about Longstaff.
  12. It’s probably not wise for her to start calling random nutters off the internet who’ve tracked down her private address and discuss details of a 300m takeover of a football club. I'd imagine random nutters are canny far down on her list of "people I need to call when bidding hundreds of millions on something as public as a football team" I do want it to be true (on some levels, just to confirm it's happening) but the responses on here are fantastic.
  13. Apart from Anfield (which I didn't see), the only time he's conceded has been at Bournemouth (and only after he was nearly knocked out by Shelvey, and I'm convinced wasn't moving freely).
  14. Some guys go for the comfortable option. You have to question his attitude and commitment. It's been clear for a while Klopp hasn't been happy with him. He's been playing Dominic Solanke ahead of the guy for goodness sake! And before him Origi was ahead of Sturridge. Something isn't right there at all. Think he just wants to play when he feels like, and do what he wants when he's out on the pitch. He is up for a rude awakening under Pardew. Lonely afternoons at the top end of the pitch, with your team mates far off in the distance all defending. Why question the attitude of players when it's player after player after player that chooses to go elsewhere at the very moment that the reins are handed over to Charnley. Don't be so ridiculous. This, in a nutshell. Obviously there are reasons why any one or two players would choose to go elsewhere. It happens with us nearly any time interest is expressed from anywhere else. We must have a really toxic reputation as an employer in the football world.
  15. Don't think he was ever the same after McManaman obliterated his knee, like.
  16. We're down without fresh blood, IMO. And if we do go down with this squad, and no saleable assets, that's us in the Championship for a while. The end of Rafa, and the end of the takeover bids. As someone's pointed out, what Ashley's doing is insanity, and it now appears more than ever to be little more than a cold-blooded desire to be, as Llambias put it, "fucking horrible."
  17. Stoke in for a £15m player. Arsenal agree £55m for Aubameyang. We are such a fucking joke.
  18. Just based on what I've watched this season: de Gea Otamendi - Pique - Stones Matic - Pogba Messi ----- De Bruyne ---- Neymar Kane - Cavani
  19. That's absolutely, utterly awful. I haven't seen a site that bad in about six years.
