Cisse scoring was good, and Tavernier looks like he will make it. Vuckic, Gosling and Marveaux though? Nah. -
Floated set penis to Williamson/Taylor at back post

As happened in the last game, our set pieces are so weak they're more of a risk than a help. It's more likely that the opposition will break and score than it is that we will. I'd rather we took short corners occasionally, or tried Cabaye doing that Gerrard style run across the box. Just mix it up. -
Hearing that he wakes in pain everyday, because of his ankle, makes me feel for the lad.

Tbf, most of the "fouls" were absolutely nothing. But I agree on the general point.
-
If it's going to be like this for as long as he's here, he can go.

Just looking back at the start of this thread, when people wanted him sold or shipped off to the arse end of Sudan. Since then, he's really not improved statistically, yet has developed full-blown cult hero status. Why do people think that is? Personally, I love Shola despite his faults now. Has everyone just given up hope and accepted him for what he is.
-
He showed plenty enough reflexes to save the over-the-line goal. Yes, he's much weaker than he used to be, but I'd still fancy him over Elliot. He's not the second coming of the apocalypse. Can't wait till Krul's back in, and yes Harper may let a few in that Krul would save, but it's not like he's going to walk the ball into his own net. Edit: Must be pretty cynical. Don't think there's been a first apocalypse yet.

Harper Tavernier Williamson Perch Ferguson Marveaux Bigirimana Amalfitano Obertan Cisse Sammy Ameobi Subs: Elliot, S. Taylor, Gosling, Santon, Ben Arfa, Shola Ameobi, Ba Wary of taking it too easy, but got to keep that eye on Norwich. -
Thought he did well to get an arm on that over-the-line goal tbh.
-
Maybe because it says absolutely nothing. "Look, Xisco hasn't gone on loan." That's really it.
-
It'll be like a new signing.
-
Our top Premier League scorers: 1 - Alan Shearer (148) 2 - Peter Beardsley (46) 3 - Andy Cole (43) 4 - Les Ferdinand (41) 5 - Shola Ameobi (40) 6 - Nobby Solano (37) 7 - Rob Lee (34) 8 - Gary Speed (29) 9 - Obafemi Martins (28) 10 - Craig Bellamy (27) Insane how far ahead Shearer is, and that Martins is in there.

@Sammy_Ameobi: After being beasted by fitness for the last 2 weeks me & @shane_fergie are finally fit to train tomorrow #nufc #yey Posted 20 minutes ago Fergie will be nice full-back cover if he can stay fit.

England are 4th. Surely that's enough of a piss-take for anyone.

You do a separate list of kids which is: Aarons, Abeid, Aird, Alnwick, Sa.Ameobi, Bigirimana, Booth, Campbell, Desmond, Dummett, Ferguson, Gillesphey, Gilliead, Good, Grant, Heardman, Hooper, Inman, Kitchen, Knight, Logan, Lopez, Maddison, McKinnon, Miele, Mitchell, Morgan, Moyo, Newton, Nicholson, Olley, Quinn, Ranger, Richardson, Riley, Santon, Satka, Smith, Streete, Tavernier, Turton, Vuckic. according to .com anyway He's managed to submit a false birth certificate and come through the academy again. 15 more years. Was Smith that left footed lad in the Milk Cup? looked canny there. Liam Smith was it? Played CM with the no. 8 shirt? Was chatting to his dad during one of the games, randomly. Nice chap, seems to have his head screwed on and the right attitude. Whether he make it or not is another matter, but there were definitely worse players there.

Good. If we're paying him, he may as well be available.
-
We should play these guys against Everton.

When that's 75% of your league points, that's pretty important.
