I think he was completely out of line abusing the fans the way he did after the shambles that 2014 was. He deserved every bit of doubt and mistrust sent his way. He talks a big game, but has never actually achieved anything in football apart from be Sir Bobby's assistant many years ago. Many people rightly see him as part of the old boys club who are happy to steal a living from NUFC without actually providing much value. The only upside of hearing his interviews is that I don't have to hear al pards mmm and aaaahhh, his incoherent English and his arrogant twang.

Seems that this guy is much more desperate to win games than Pardew ever was. I hope that this is really the case. The entire lot of them owe us big time, and the least they can do, coaches and players, is give us a half decent end to the season by playing with effort, pride and some f***ing entertainment. Would love to be wrong, but I'm not holding my breath.

Africa 'Copa' of Nations 2015 - Ivory Coast Champions

Drawing lots in this case is farcical. Football's organizing body is in a right state, it's embarrassing. No doubt it will now be about who "wants it" more and can show love ($$$$) to Hayatou and co. -
Make it more about the passive day out craic than about the football. Makes sense.

So spitting and deliberately trying to injure and inflame opponents with physical aggression is now being celebrated, and we need more of it? Seriously? The likes of Costa and Suarez have enough ability to rile up the opponents by wreaking havoc on them footballing wise. There is not a single excuse for their extra-curricular activities on the pitch that they are now more famous for.

Playing 2 ball playing CBs both on the small side has never worked in the PL. It never will, either. PL strikers are superathletes in 2015. Partnering Mapou with a bloke who gets outmuscled and out jumped by Shane Long would never have brought out the best in him. If you picked out maybe a dozen of the best CB partnerships in the PL, I couldn't think of one like that Colo/MYM partnership MYM came in at a time when the future of Coloccini at the club was uncertain. If we had lost Coloccini and replaced him directly with MYM, none of this would be an issue now.

Costa is an utter cunt. Completely masks the quality player underneath. His OTT gamesmanship is woeful and shows that he's nothing but a disrespectful thug. He'll get his comeuppance one day though I believe.

Hyperbole aside, I really do worry about us going down. It wouldn't take much tbh.

Congratulations to a set of docile and submissive fans more than happy to lap up the shit sent their way by good old mike and al and jc. Fuck off and good night.

CB's were excellent. Iraq barely had a sniff. Good luck in the final.

Very good player just lost his way and had the ability coached out of him. He was making adults look like fools before he was a teen. what, like, 12? Yup. Decent players too. Ah, right! Thought that was a typo Did you know people that played against him as a youngster then? Yes, he grew up a stones throw from me. We used to play in the local park together (when Leeds would let him) Nice, is it a case of too much too young? That said, it's not as if he's tumbled down the leagues. Possibly, but his family kept him grounded. Don't get me wrong he was driving around let's in an m3 at 18 but he's cool, stayed friends with all the people he grew up with and what not. I don't know what it is, but he was much more than just a hug the line winter in his youth, could dribble centrally and was a good finisher as well. Cool, interesting to hear that. Do you think my comparison to Sterling was that way off? I see similarities at times. I could certainly imagine him playing centrally too. He's certainly a better shooter than he is a crosser that's for sure. Feel like he just got pushed out there due to his pace, and was told to hug the line by coaches, and it's taken away from his game. I see the comparison possibly in style, but I think Sterling has the ability to dribble at pace with his head up. Lennon keeps his head down far too long to be effective at creating openings or helping his teammates exploit the space he creates.
-
Nah! Lennon isn't a kick and chase guy man. That's Theo. Theo struggles to keep control dribbling at pace. He usually is best when he knocks it forward and then gets there quicker than the defender. Lennon dribbles with the ball at pace really well, as does Sterling. Walcott was one of the most devastating midfielders in the league for a few years before his injury. He's light years ahead of Lennon in almost every way. This

38 pts this week. 19 pts on the bench. fml -
Aye this is the one. I think in a subsequent question he is directly asked who he supports, and he refuses to budge on the diplomatic answer.
-
I don't disagree like, but those were his own words. Who was it that writes about us but openly supports someone else? Douglas?
-
He once answered that he didn't support any particular team in the NE, but has a passion for NE football (and the region in general) iirc? He's from Durham though, so....dunno
-
Article is as good as we've come to expect from Caulkin. He has his finger on the pulse of the NUFC collective better than anyone else out there in professional media, and he's not even a supporter!

Love seeing Qatar rooted to the bottom of their group with no chance of qualifying. That is all.
