  1. See how it pans out, but I have heard from a reasonable "sauce" that it was Dekka who appointed JFK without consulting the owner and not the other way round, which confounds most previous posts. It's feasible. As MD you hire and fire and don't have to consult shareholders (or owner in this case) to do so. Make sense ? Nah, but probably about as much sense as anything else does. Makes no sense at all when JK can't even pronounce David's name.
  2. Llambezy noooo!! Wait!! Ah fuck it
  3. The key to all this is the following sentence from the official club statement: "Chief scout Graham Carr and manager Alan Pardew will report into Joe." Clearly this is not a football move and stinks of a paranoid Ashley on a power trip. Just about the only glimmer of hope I have is that we're only in the middle of June, and that there is still plenty of time for this all to be sorted out by the time August rolls around. I refuse to believe that we will go into the season with this "structure", and with everyone still in their place as they are now. Something will give.
  4. This post has to win something
  5. What in the actual fuck? I am convinced this is happening because as a fanbase we have become way too docile and have allowed this owner to do whatever he likes without being held accountable. No one should have ever waltzed into the club and changed the stadium's name. When we let him off for that one, he knew he could do anything he wanted. As far as this mumbling fool here, well, he should not be allowed to move up to the city. Simple as that. We're thick and if he's as smart as he says he is, he'll stay well the fuck away.
  6. Pitch already been relaid and painted? Must have been done earlier and only announced today?
  7. I would half give credence to this appointment if it came about the right way. If there had been an official press release from NUFC, with comments from JFK, AP and DL giving details and a plan of action. It would at least show unity and the intentions of the club's top brass. What we get instead is this freak mouthing off to Sky, with no knowledge of the whereabouts of the club's manager, and no word from the club itself. They can all get to fuck.
  8. I actually hate them all. Ironically, Ashley is the most "likeable bloke" out of that rabble, but he's the one I've voted for. The buck stops with him.
  9. I honestly hear that about anyone with a bad reputation "Oh, I know he acts like a dickhead when everyone is looking but in real life he's a great bloke" You hear it, but it isn't really true, is it? It's just apologists making excuses. Most of the leagues known arseholes have at least as many scrapes off the pitch as on it. Whether it's fighting in nightclubs, f***ing around or just being a dick to people. Given how bad Suarez behaves on the field, you'd expect there to be at least a couple of off-field stories but there aren't any (at least that I'm aware of). Maybe he is just a coward? I doubt he would have the balls to go up to someone like Ivanovic when there isn't the ref, other players, tv etc.. and bite him. No idea why that's the case, nor am I trying to defend him. It just strikes me as something that sets him apart from the run-of-the-mill c*** footballer. The guy has always struck me as one of those type people with severe impulse problem or inner demons, rather than just an evil person. He's clearly extremely competitive to the point of being a dirty player, and most of his offences have been been "rush of blood" type moments. I seriously doubt he spent time making the decision to bite either Ivanovic or Bakkal. The guy got a bit annoyed, had a rush of adrenaline and lost his head. I seriously doubt he can control himself. In addition to all the diving, cheating and injury feigning of course. Fkn adrenaline.
  10. All the usual suspects for NUFC matches. Special mention to the two great wins over Villa as both were great matches. NUFC 4 AVFC 3 (Dwight Yorke hattrick) NUFC 3 AVFC 0 (3 great goals, 2 by Bellamy and the volley by Shearer) Non NUFC: Germany 1 Bulgaria 2 (94 WC QF) - Stoichkov and Letchkov What an excellent game of football that was. England 3 Cameroon 2 (90 WC QF) - Back when international football was good
  11. Souness = Pardew for me The only thing that gave me hope about Souness is the fact that due to his health circumstances, he may have changed his view on life, and therefore on football.
  12. I know you watch those two players more frequently than I do, but IMO Pedro is twice the player Sanchez is.
  13. Scored another 2 in todays 5-0 win. Inman also scored and Richardson got a couple. Mackems drew wioth a cricket club Inman scored again along with Tavernier in a 2-0 win over Leicester to finish top of the group and advance to the knockout stages.
  14. I agree. I've highlighted the word 'manager' though because Pardew isn't one. A proper manager would lead by example and admit to his own failings before pointing fingers at some stage when things have gone horribly wrong as they have this season.
  15. We might have played better football if... f*** it. I know that pardspheel man. Come close to posting several times in the past couple of days, only to just think "fuck it" to myself. There's just so much bullshit, so much that is wrong with every word that knacker says it's enough to drive you mental.
