  1. Parker will surely be sold this summer, regardless, and this is just to up his price. Allegedly.
  2. Sorry like, but both awards have been a joke. Neither Bale nor Parker have been the best. IMO, the stand out players this season have been Nasri, Van Der Vaart and Yaya Toure. All for different reasons. Wilshere winning the YP award was spot on mind.
  3. seems like that's what every post is trying to say. Personally I think he's a very good defender who has exceeded expectations by far since joining the club. No nonsense. He's here to play football and nee bollocks like.
  4. Oh shucks. Photo won't show up. Here's the link anyway http://www.flickr.com/photos/40191515@N05/5619191196/in/photostream/
  5. http://www.flickr.com/photos/40191515@N05/5619191196/sizes/m/in/photostream/ wtf?
  6. Just heard about this. Gareth Bale? are you for fucking real? Complete and utter joke. There have been better performers in the Spurs side let alone the entire league.
  7. http://www.uksoccershop.com/images/1986_away.jpg love this one meself
  8. The most important part for me tbh
  9. I think the above post is one of the best in football chat for quite some time. THIS imo, as Dave put it so well, is the crux of the issue. We had/have these players on contracts at the club. We should only sell when we can no longer afford to pay them, or if they are no longer good enough (assuming of course, the ambition, which the club says is there, is actually there). It does hurt massively to see Carroll in a Liverpool shirt, nevermind him scoring 2 belters last night. I was watching the game with about 10 of my mates (all Liverpool supporters), and before the game started all they could talk about was how they hoped Man Utd would thrash Chelsea and knock them, as they didn't want Torres to enjoy his time at his new club. So much vitriol. By the end of the game all they could talk about was the genius signing of Carroll and what a great player he is etc... Jammy Twats the lot of them Genuine question, can you address the issue of finances at all? Or are you really able to just ignore what is happening financially and think purely about what happens on the pitch? How do you mean can I address them? As in am I taking finances into account? If the situation was so dire, and the 35m was needed to keep us from bankruptcy, then I would understand it. And if this were the case, I would expect the club to come out and express it. What we do have is uncertainty, even on Pardew's part, where even he is not sure whether this money will be spent "to a satisfactory level" that would make swallowing the pill of AC's sale easier, or even better, to move the club forward.

Jammy Twats the lot of them, and they feel the same confusion regarding Torres as we do with regards to Carroll. At least they have a new hero, and we have an ambiguity that will feel like an eternity until the summer comes and we see where we really stand in terms of who actually got the better deal.
  11. I actually reckon he will make a great manager some day. Certainly has the makings of one. Unspectacular career as a footballer, steep learning curve having short stints with top clubs, and a seemingly positive winning mentality.
  12. http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/233/newpuma.jpg i can imagine that template as an away shirt like Although that looks fucking great, it's a bit too Norwich City is it not?
  13. Seamus Coleman might be a cracking player in the future, but in there ahead of Carroll? fuck off
  14. Mebbe they finally realized he's not up to much
  15. We best give a good account of ourselves down there. A point would be great, but I'm praying we stuff these cunts.
  16. Just watched the pre-kick off shindig Real had. Honored (fat) Ronaldo who was out on the pitch, quite fat, and received some sort of award to a massive ovation. Anyone have any idea what that was for? Probably just acknowledging him being f***ing class. They did the same for RvN. fair enough. Looked more like it was for winning a pie eating contest.

  18. Giorgios Giorgiades was a little bit shit was he not?
  19. He had a good game against Arsenal once. So did Jamie McClen.
