  1. I reckon if the sides were all white (basically connected to the sleeves), it would have been a reasonable success.
  2. Put the damn thing on and model for us will ya?
  3. What's so Dowie about that? When Milner burst onto the scene, he showed that he possessed good technique, and wasn't afraid to get stuck in! I see Ferguson with similar traits only with more pace than Milner had/has.
  4. Reminds me of a young James Milner. Brave and technically sound. With pace to burn!
  5. Wow!!! That is some free-kick! absolute beauty
  6. Certainly looks the part. I hope he's professional enough to realize that he can force his way into Pardew's plans for next season. Should go on a short holiday, then come back, work on his fitness, and prove his worth to the squad in pre-season. He didn't play too much football this season, and shouldn't let himself go over the summer, as many young aspiring pro's do.
  7. Did Gutierrez really start almost up front just behind Ameobi? The pre-match lineup seemed to have him in the middle, with Lovenkrands out wide on the right. Sorry if this has been discussed earlier, but what did people make of it? I thought he had a busy game as always, but was more effective in keeping the Chelsea back 4 occupied and on their toes! Not a bad option at all!
  8. Spot on. His learning curve as of late has been quite steep, and he still has more to go. Having said that, I'm glad that he made such a mistake in a relatively meaningless game, rather than one where we were expected to win. Potential to be a top keeper imo.
  9. What a player Modric is. Better than anything Liverpool have got.
  10. Luis Suarez is an odious little cunt who deserves a solid punch in the cock. Good to see Liverpool back to their cuntish cheating best. After the way this season started, I would have thought they might simmer back down to reality. Seems not. Hope Spurs nick this.
  11. Away end cracked me up with "2 Ameobis, theres only 2 Ameobis" as Sammy came on. For the record, the 3rd brother is Tommi Ameobi and not Toni ffs
  12. Not really celebrating with his teammates, and looks like nee fucker on his team knows who he is sad sad bastard
  13. The epitome of a professional footballer living the dream. Certainly not there to "sell shirts in Asia".
  14. Pitch looks in excellent condition. Best pitch in the PL?
  15. Fair comment. Both clubs though have well documented problems in defence. I reckon they'll splash big bucks on recognized centre halves from Europe. Again.
  16. Want to come back to this. From a purely national perspective it'll be great to have such a mentality on board. c***s win trophies. Wilshere does look like a prize cunt (terrific player mind)
  17. Why? Samba will be looking for a way out. If arsenal and wengar are stupid enough not to take him we would be a good bet Hangelaand may be a bit mote difficult We'd be a sideways move for both of them and those generally don't work out too well. If nothing else Fulham and Blackburn would demand absurd fees. I reckon we're a higher profile club than those two. Fees demanded would be a problem as you say, but would also depend on their respective contractual situations. I think we'd get Samba if we went in for him.
  18. They did play anti-football in their first couple of seasons back. It's not been that bad lately.

    Alan Pardew

I'd agree with that, but would jump at the chance to have him replaced. Was certainly hoping that rumour a few days ago had some truth in it. He hasn't shown anything different, or special about his style of management. With Hughton for example, you could clearly see a marked difference between him as a coach, a care-taker, and then a full-time manager. The man grew in stature, and seemed to have a shrewdness about him. We can't afford to change managers again now obviously, so we'll have to wait and see how we start next season.
  20. Managers are very stubborn 'their' way is always the correct method. To change it would be to admit they were wrong... or something. Wenger is over the top though. At this rate, he can develop his youngsters till the cows come home and he will never win a trophy. Continuously churning out softshite cheating sides with very little tactical flexibility will get you nowhere these days.
  21. I realize this is probably a load of horse shit, but Spurs can suck themselves off, then implode, leaving behind a little mound of toenail cuttings.
  22. I'm in this camp. The way he reacted when he got the card and when he dropped to his knees when he misplaced a pass in the second half shows he really cares. With a more mobile midfielder next to him he wouldn't need to do the work of two men and would hopefully give away less fouls. The constant "shooooot" is irritating too. He's hit 1 good (god-like) shot all season. This. He desperately needs a mobile partner or two next season to pair up with him in the middle. He can't keep thinking he needs to do it all, which is why he is constantly in the thick of it from kickoff to final whistle, so much so that he's more likely to get booked for constant fouling.
