This guy can get to fuck tbh. His "defending" for Norwich's 2nd and 3rd was pitiful. -
Saying? said hes now had a handful of games and its about time he showed some results, nothing better than carver or McClaren yet. Two fingered mutant, definitely a mackem then.
-
He's been not shit for the most part, and made some exceptional saves in some games.
-
To see it in another way, would England's chances at the tournament suffer if Rooney happened to be injured and stayed home? Wouldn't make a jot of a difference imho.
-
Dat free-kick
-
Ron, bottom line is, would you start Rooney ahead of either Kane or Vardy the form they're in this season? Would you have him play in a more withdrawn role? You don't really need to keep banging the Rooney drum as his stats speak for themselves. The guy has been a top class performer (and most years world class) for the entirety of his career. Starting the Euros at the expense of England's best two strikers this season would be a travesty though and an incompetent decision of the highest magnitude.
-
Basically no point considering Rooney will stroll back into the side on the basis of nowt. This. Not preparing for EC by playing Vardy and Kane up front for England is symptomatic of everything that is wrong with English football. Rooney should go to the Euros but should only be on the bench. You have two shit hot players in Vardy and Kane who should be given the chance to form an understanding together from now. Those two could score enough goals to win the tournament tbh the form they're in.

What a melt that GK is. The alan pardew of goalkeepers.

It looks like he's been told to cross it early, and has been for a while. I think it's as much tactical instruction from SMC as it is the player putting in about 20% less effort. -
Got to be trolling us now
-
This. Not the worst import we've had from that league but he's no great shakes either. THAT tackle has instilled in him something rotten. We need Kevin Mbabu fighting fit it seems!
-
We? really? You had nothing to do with it you absolute cunt.
-
fucking hell lovejoy
-
Can he actually play on the wing?
-
Sounds good to me. If you're a stroppy cunt when someone like Benitez is in charge you can fuck off tbh.

17/18

Just three isn't it? Excluding Janmaat now so Gini, Sissoko and Mitro? Am I right? Hope he and the players can really prepare for the final run in now. I doubt Mitrovic will be going away if he has to get his head checked this week?
-
I keep hearing about this on here. Is this a joke being said in jest or is there any actual basis for this rumour that I've missed? Who the f*** in their right mind in the world of football would guarantee a useless shitehawk like Colback a starting place in a Premiership team?
-
IMO de Jong has to be on the pitch at the same time as Perez and Wijnaldum. They are the most technical players we have and if Rafa can get a system built around them we could spend the majority of games camped in the opposition half. Pity we don't have a prolific striker.
-
There seems to be a lot more hatred for Jack Colback now than there was 12 months ago. I like to think I've partly contributed to that by preaching about this monstrosity of a footballer on a regular basis, in boozers in and around Newcastle. Colback is pure scum. A turncoat c*** who shouldn't have been allowed to step foot in SJP. I can't wait till the c*** finds his level back in the Championship with a Bristol City or Burton Albion - even if we go down we must get rid.
-
Just seen he ran all the way from the back to grab Mitrovic and lead him back to the half way line so we can restart the game. Seems to possess real leadership on the pitch. Captain material for the future.
-
It's not only the position he found himself in but he also has a better understanding with de Jong who is a technician just like him. Maybe those two need to play up front together?
-
Sat on the bench for 60 odd minutes and still can't remember to remove his ring before coming on as sub. It's petty but it shows a lack of focus tbh. I hope I'm just making a meal out of nothing and he can knock 3 or 4 goals between now and the end of the season to help keep us up.
-
He has the ability to dance around heal-snapping challenges the same way Wijnaldum does, but we're just not seeing it from him. His touches are now a lot more deliberate and easier to predict. I guess it could be a phase he's going through as part of his learning curve.
