Spirit? Seriously? have you seen Borini or Yedlin man? Fuck them. Defoe is the only thing that has made the difference for them. That's where they've trumped us. Buying an ageing Defoe on the scrapheap from the Canadian league ffs.
-
Don't forget they knowingly fielded a nonce for their own gain. Never forget that. Of course not. Birds of a feather and all that. It's the malbec talking but I don't give a fuck. It didn't hit me this afternoon but it has now and I'm fucking incensed that gobshite twats like allardyce pardew and pulis get to manage in the PL next season and Rafa won't. Fuck football man.
-
Get to fuck you fucking cesspool of a club and city. Fucking vermin getting the rub of it with that bollocks pen at Stoke and two deflected goals today. What can you fucking do except look at the way NUFC has kept them up 4 years running. Fuck off the lot of you inbred bastards.
-
Absolutely heartbreaking that we don't get to keep him. Supporting NUFC has become some kind of sick fucking joke and it just won't end

I think it's fairer to say that he's nowhere near the finished article with all the hype he's got. Still has some weaknesses that he'll need to figure out. Not sure going to Man City will help tbh.

Out of all the posters on here one could have a go at, brummie is probably one of the last on the list. Always well behaved on here and never comes across as someone with a repetitive agenda in every single thread. A bit of a strange one Wallsend man. -
Has more talent in his big toe than most of our squad. Clearly out of sorts lately, but it's more to do with him trying too hard to make an impact and impress Rafa/the fans than anything else. He's just not playing his natural game which was ever so smooth and elegant. He's just stuttering and bouncing all over the place and can hardly bring a ball under control like we're used to him doing.
-
Ultimately the most impressive thing about Anita for me is that he's been totally up for this fight whereas Janmaat, even with all his theatrics and chest beating, has bottled it. Anita had his best game for us against WH last year when also playing at RB IIRC and he epitomised the bravery and determination we needed to win that game and stay up.

Dummett is one of the last he would look to move on. Does the basics of his position well. Understands defending and has a good 'tude. atti too much for you?
-
Much rather bring in a better LB than Dummett and shift him to the pool of CB's. We know he can cover at LB if the need arises but I still feel he's better in the middle. Mbemba, Lascelles, Dummett and the addition of a quality CB with some experience wouldn't be a bad set to choose from.

I love it when he comes in-field when the play is on the opposite wing, and makes that darting last-man run as Cisse occupies the defenders. It still hasn't quite come off for us yet but I think with time it could become a lethal weapon with his pace and decent finishing to have a run on goal 1 on 1 with the keeper.
-
Should've won it in 010-011 fam

I think we are as well, although I'm not sure how much that means these days. I just think if he's willing to come to Newcastle and potentially get relegated, he's willing to spend a season or two with teams like that for an easy life. Sorry like but nothing about Rafa's career screams out "easy life". He's addicted to football beyond help. He'll want nothing to do with an easy football life. It's the reason he's here in the first place.

The Cypriot league is corrupt as fuck. It was practically known beforehand that Ketsbaia's team APOEL would take the title and Apollon (my team that knocked APOEL out of the cup) would take the cup. Nothing is confirmed of course but there's always murmurs and the results always seem to back up the rumours. He was in no way sacked because of results. Must have been something else.

134 with Bellerin and Koscielny to play! Jumped up 5 places in my mates league.
-
Everton away, Man U at home and last night. Wow.
-
Bench boost this week. 119 pts with about 6 to play.
-
Done the same and added Lingard as well.

Colo? Thought he was confirmed as out? Good news about Mbabu if true. It's what I was told, this bloke knows a few at the club and was at the U21's midweek. Better news about Sissoko. Wonder if the invisible man in centre will survive. My missus is due to give birth so will hopefully give this a complete miss Good luck mate hope all goes well. Cheers, should do. Cant't wait for sleepless nights again with my toddler and new born destroying my sleep patterns . Just hope it happens today as overdue and I could give this match a clear miss. All the best man. NUFC is irrelevant at times like these. Hopefully you'll receive double the good news by tomorrow evening.

I did this years ago. Can't find it for the life of me
-
Not sure why it's in this thread as I haven't read the last few pages, but that is spot on!

He refused to run down the wing and cross with his right foot so many times, electing to cut inside and do fuck all. Yet the goal came from a right-footed cross. Is this guy that thick or what?
