  1. Just make it happen ffs. What the f*** is "suggested some form of sounding out"? Sending out smoke circles to see if he could spot them from his garden? "I'd like to add you to my professional network on LinkedIn. - Lee Charnley" Oh great. It's just like NUFC to be using the most pathetic cheap and tatty app ever created.

  4. I beg to differ on this one.
  5. Thought about that earlier as well. Who would he work with though? Would he accept being demoted to assistant? Could they bring someone in to work alongside him? Stuart Pearce or some such character? He'd move upstairs, surely? Take up his board position? And do what exactly if Carr is still here? Unless it would just be a move to save face? We're so desperate for things to change that we're dreaming up some highly unlikely scenarios.

  7. Thinking about how utterly farcical everything at NUFC seems to be, Alan Shearer's "let's move on, come on" comment at the end of his MOTD analysis sums it up perfectly. So fucking embarrassing.
  8. I had surgery on Tuesday and was sat in the pub watching this today with my Liverpool supporter mates. Nearly ripped my stitches open when Firmino scored. Pardew walking off heart-broken has made my week.
  9. The only thing more disgraceful than Sissoko's performance was the decision to bring Aarons on in his place in a straight swap.
  10. 72 with Firminoh to play. Bellerin on the bench ffs.
  11. What in the fuck was this braindead coward doing for the first goal?
  12. That was the most blatant refusal to do one's job I've ever seen from professional footballer
  13. Shocking execution of a perfectly good one on one situation when through on goal, and shocking support for Wijnaldum in that second half counter attack. And that "cross" in the first half
  14. Despite all the overall shitness and negativity surrounding NUFC at this time, I can't help but start to like this dude. Seems a real leader out on the pitch, and is starting to make his presence felt at the back.
  15. Liverpool, mackems and Spurs in 2010. I'd say first two are still in there, but I don't hate Spurs as much now, in fact I have a growing respect for Pochettino and their squad. Probably Palace for obvious reasons.
  16. never felt shock like this before Chin up mate. We stick together no matter what.
  17. He did, so Mitro couldn't move his leg as his foot was stuck underneath Fabregas' boot, and jarred the knee.
  18. If anything, Cisse's all round play had been better recently before his injury. Showed some decent link-up and hold-up play. Not sure how he would work with Mitrovic, as I get the feeling they'd both be making similar runs and occupying the same spaces. If we can get those two to complement each other, we'd stay up quite easily IMO.
  19. 'appy 'arry ffs. You've got to laugh
  20. There's probably over-coaching going on tbh. To the point where it's detrimental to morale, or just too much information to absorb.
  21. f***'s sake at first glance the proximity of this thread to the word "sacked" in the nonce thread title has fooled me twice now.
  22. That is superbly written and fucking spot on.
  23. Tiote, Saivet & Shelvey as a midfield 3 might work in away games? Mitrovic, Perez, Doumbia/Sissoko/Townsend up top. This. An orthodox 433 seems like the way to go away from home. Beef up the middle of the park, and have Sissoko and Townsend help out the fullbacks when needed. Shelvey can play a bit more advanced with 2 sitting behind him. It's only slightly different to what we're currently doing with Wijnaldum in the hole supporting Mitrovic, but at least Shelvey can spot the killer pass whereas Wijnaldum doesn't seem to create much from those areas. We don't really need proper width since we can't cross for shit.
