Our best CM since....?

You slagged KK to f*** for walking out. At least ensure your material is consistent. 3/10 must try harder. Did I? I remember not joining the wankfest when he returned. Those self driving cars will be along soon. Don't know why I found this that funny but I'm cracking up

Getting paid to put 2 and 2 together

In all seriousness I think that instead of going to the match, people should take part in an organised protest every single home match day. If there is an established location and method of protest (inside and/or outside the stadium) then it could become a regular thing and something to really put our foot down on. We have to fight for our club back. Last time out he was rattled and pulled out a golden ticket to save his fat ass- that won't be possible this time once someone like Rafa leaves. The pressure should be relentless and vicious from now on. Let's show a bit of fucking balls for once as supporters. Let those who want to go and sit in silence go and sit in fucking silence. Fuck them all and Ashley.
-
Yeah, it really is. In 20 years time we could well look back at today or this window and see it as the day that truly broke the club.
-
Lose vs Swansea and I think the atmosphere will quickly turn very sour. You can just see the look on Rafa's face in the post match presser
-
I agree with everything that you are saying, Decky, but the part in bold is what is most hampering our club. A huge % of our fanbase has chucked it in, and by that I mean they don't have the stomach to demand anything more than a scrap for survival and 'a bit of passion'. In saying that, if Rafa did walk then perhaps the striking downgrade we would see replace him might start to wake a few folk up. But I wouldn't be hopefull.
-
Guys, let's get a NO petition going to bring him back before the window SLAMS (!!!!) shut tonight! Maybe one of us could sent it into Sky in the next hour or so? Show them how passionate we are and how much we love deadline day! C'mon, it'll be so fun! PS It might work too
-
So much drama and emotion when you're involved in the Premier League! Ugh, I hope Sky catch it all <3

Fans need to stop going once Rafa does. It really has to come to a head soon. The anti-Ashley movement was gaining momentum before he brought Rafa in, but he bought himself one more chance and is very much in the process of blowing it. Nothing will change unless our fanbase as a whole rejects him. The most depressing part about it all is that concept is just so far away.

Dennis Hewit-Croft, of CroftHewitNews. http://i0.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/000/530/474/2d0.jpg  Re Lazaar, I actually don't think I have properly seen him play, but I just assume he isn't PL quality.
-
I reckon he'll stay at least until January. I'd imagine he will want to build on his work from last season, whilst seeing it as quite a challenge in trying to get us as high a finish as possible/survival. That's probably me giving myself a way out from crying myself to sleep tonight, but regardless he will not be here not season.

Anyone seen this blokes pre match team talks? Absolute cringe fest. It's full of all that sort of 'we are lions, kings of the jungle...This is our jungle' bullshit. Don't know how his players have any respect for him.

https://en.as.com/en/2017/08/28/football/1503942346_975565.html Dunno if been posted, but an interesting view. A lot better value for money in a league far superior than the PL! What's our cheapest ST?

I'm pretty sure that's not the only way deals are done these days. Rafa has already said that he has identified targets and spoken to players who want to join the club. If we agree a fee in principal with a club and agree wages in principal with the player, once the funds become available it can all move quickly. I doubt we're waiting unless we bank the money before making initial contact with a club. After how long the Lejeune deal took after we had to haggle over a few extra quid, I have literally no faith in us being in any way competent of doing things in an efficient manner. We will most likely find a way to scupper it, and then we'll be told "Rafa, all that cash you didn't get to spend...baby, that's all yours this January". I have no trust in our club to get anything right.
-
I also can't wait to see "Craigy" outside the training ground all day tomorrow being about as useful as a chocolate teapot. No doubt there will be literally no fucking coverage on what a total failure that fat cunt has been to us once again, and SSN will reflect it as a success if anything because of the profit we made (and we managed to 'hold on' to Dwight Gayle....massive club us still!). If we do stay up, it will be this exact same situation next year. And the year after, etc., etc.
-
The only positive you could possible invent from this situation is that we don't tend to give much away before all of a sudden is on his way to SJP to finalise talks/undergo a medical. How typical though, all of a sudden we are apparently offloading an important player for a large sum of money juuuuust before the window ends. If Rafa is tied to using only the funds brought in by an outgoing deal, then say Gayle is sold at 7pm tomorrow night, it gives us 4 hours to sign/confirm a replacement. It's so bloody obvious what the clubs strategy is, and if we don't get anyone in it is not because we deserve to. You make your own luck in these situations (re we could have probably pouched Jovetic for £15m or so weeks ago if we weren't so ridiculously stubborn & cheap), and right now we are once again suffering from our own inexplicable policies.
-
Taking the day off on Thursday, even missing my brothers wedding in fact, to watch Deadline Day with Jim and the lads. My favorite day of the year, I just can't wait to see all the drama! Can't believe football was only invented 25 years ago too! Go Premier League!!
-
£10m?!! We couldn't even cough up ten million pounds....Jesus Christ, we really are doomed That's unforgivable. And people actually think we'll get £20m for Dwight Gayle?
-
He's been excellent for Atleti in their first two matches. Plus they will need him at least until January as they have that transfer ban. Plus, he'd cost at least €15m! It's a pipe dream, sadly.
-
Without a doubt we are still making signings, or certainly up until Rafa came, that were favors for agents. You look at players like Saivet who has barely kicked a ball for us in his time. There's been an endless amount of rank players who have barely ever featured for us. The fact they are shite is obviously a factor but imo strengthen the case of it being a favor.
-
If we really wanted to get rid of them we could. Even if it meant we paid 20% of their wages until their contracts with us ran out, we could without doubt find buyers. If someone offered £2m for Colback you'd take it! Clubs who have just been promoted like Sheff Utd or Bolton would take someone like Hanley, Diame, or Darlow! I just think that the club is run so poorly and quite reluctant to sell players for less than what we bought them for that nothing gets done.
-
Had all f***ing summer to do this and once a f***ing gain it's all coming down to the absolute last seconds which will be full with disappointment. What a disgrace this club is at times. Why weren't the likes of Riviere, de Jong, Colback, Diame, Hanley, Darlow, Haidara, Saivet all shifted out at the start? There should have been a heavy emphasis on riding us of these players from the minute we were celebrating with the Championship trophy. Same story every f***ing summer and I'm sick of it. Edit- Add Lazaar to that bloody list.
