The amount of rubbish on that pitch  What a fucking shithole
-
Gives us a great outlet to go long and play off him, which is ideal when you don't have the quality to break down teams in certain stages of the game. Hope he starts on Monday.
-
Just can't afford to lose tonight. Even a draw would leave us with 8pts gap from Hudds with 4 games to play. Win tonight and we're all but up imo. Lose, and they can all just fuck off. Hate Leeds as well, so really don't want to fucking lose this.
-
Certainly deserved a point. You're just about weird enough to believe that.

I'm sorry, but no one could be or is worse than Dummet/Colback/Gouffran. Woeful players- technically, physically, mentally. Cunts. If our game plan was scuppered with Gayle going off, get Gouffran off and Atsu on which adds something for us on the counter.
-
God, just end this season, please. Beat Leeds and we're up- but that's going to be a tough, tough game.
-
Love the guy but days like today can be frustrating as fuck. Gouffran should have been hauled off after giving away that free kick for the first goal- inexplicable.
-
The squad is miles better than all the other squads in the league You say this with very little clue about the squads of the Championship like. I've said it before but I've looked at squads just above the relegation zone and can say with a fair amount of certainty that Gouffran and Colback wouldn't be getting games for them. Agreed. To think with the style of play they are asked to carry out, it's a fucking miracle it's even semi-worked for us this season. Every game the starting 11 is carrying at least 2 players.
-
Fucking shocking. How the fuck was Gouffran on for the full match...disgusting player, along with Dummet. Pair of cunts. Awful performance- just want this season to end now tbh.
-
If we win this it will give a new meaning to the term 'smash and grab' That left side of Dummet/Gouffran is killing us.
-
God bless his parents for getting it on
-
That's quality, that. No excuses not to win this, as difficult a game as Burton will make it. No Colback really is the key. Hopefully he jumped in front of the Metro.

I agree with what he says, but in fairness with the likes of Atletico what do you expect- for them to try and beat Barcelona and Real by playing an open, attacking game? Football is as much about winning as it is about aesthetics, and to some, including myself, the way Simeone has achieved is quite wonderful to watch. However, lets not go overboard- it is simply repulsive to think that a manager can turn his back on someone like Hatem. Ben Arfa is the type of player who captivates you, and who you genuinely would pay to go and watch. A fantasy type player. To me, he will always be one of the greatest players I have personally ever seen pull on a Newcastle shirt. Such a legend, adore the guy.

Win against Burton midweek and it's hard to see us anything all but up!
-
Wigan growing into this. Getting anxious now as we all know how this ends...
-
In fairness chaps, although it won't be an easy match, if we can't beat Wigan at home we're in trouble. Huge game, must must win. Beat these cunts and Burton next week and it'll make Sheff Wed away a lot easier.

Would prefer us to improve the atmosphere first to be honest before any considerations of stadium expansion. Means nothing if it's dead quiet.

One of the worst parts of social media is the distortion of 'left' and 'right' that it has created now all those gobshites effectively 'have a voice' and shriek hysterically about what is 'liberal' and what is 'fascist/right wing/bigoted'. Don't bother with any form of SM now, you waste your life reading stupid things from stupid people.

Wish they would stop making the sleeves darker/lighter than the body. Horrendous. Compare it to the beauty of Umbro's Italia 90 kit and it's worthless!

Fuck those Arab sponsors. Fucking hate them. Chinese ones are just as wank. Bar Brown Ale, Northern Rock was class...wish we didn't have to part Hopefully no one wants to touch us and we can have no sponsor (would literally never happen/SD would step in...)...

As good as he is, when we have players like Colback, Dummet, Gouffran making up the starting team it is inevitable that our results will be inconsistent- especially at home when we're supposed to be breaking teams down. It's a fucking joke that in a season as huge as this we only have Shelvey/Hayden/Colback as the distinguished players who can play as a deep midfield pairing (I'm sure Rafa made it clear that he is 4-2-3-1 and nothing else, so investment in that regard was crucial, but it obviously didn't happen...). With Hayden injured, our lack of investment in January is now glaringly obvious as we're left to stomach Colback in midfield. We could play Diame there, but the fact is he is not good enough nor does he have the intelligence to play a deeper, more conservative role. He's best away from home to help start counters. Dummet is a horrific football player, and his physical presence from set pieces can be the only thing keeping him in the side. However, Rafa needs to find a way to get Haidara fit or mentally capable to play there. Plus, Dummet is a left footer so gives a bit of balance when we want to build up. In saying that, Rafa is not immune to criticism; he is overly conservative against very poor teams (perhaps he realises our defensive frailties at times), whilst strategically is killing us at home most of the time. Some of the teams that come to sit in against us are brutal, but we're far to reserved about attacking them and occupying their backline. I know he likes our Wingers to come inside, but we can still have 2 Strikers and do that, with two sitting CM's and Full Back's bombing on. Murphy has proven he's a consistent goal scorer, we need to play him. With the quality Shelvey has on the ball, there's not a lot of need to have 3 in midfield against some of these teams, but Rafa has his ideas and in fairness we are top (if only just). Ultimately, if we want to play ball on the deck and attack teams, we need 11 players on the pitch who can do that- but we don't. Win at Birmingham and we'll be one game closer. As I said after Fulham, our next 3 fixtures are huge, we need 9/9.

Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League

Next 3 games will decide it imo. We need 9/9: playing Brum (A), with Burton and Wigan (H). Absolutely has to be 3 wins agains those shithouses. Leeds at home is going to be horrific, like. I think we'll scrape automatic. -
Would love to see the club 'heroes' for any banners of theirs. Bar Bob Stokoe, who the fuck do they have? Kevin Phillips, Niall Quinn, Peter Reid, Nyron Nosworthy, Julio Arca? Difference is, their 'star' would have something to do with beating us, and no doubt they'd fit 'FTM' in there too.
