Well Nolan's out for this game and the Bolton game which wont help. Too early to predict an actual score but Everton are a team on form atm and I cant see past them. You never know, we might sneak a point though. We'll have Wor Jonas back at least!
-
Its just the squad (size) we have that worries me most. Nolan's gonna be missing for the Everton AND Bolton game due to suspension, and with no Barton and Guthrie we're gonna struggle. Although we will have Jonas back...

Were we only given an allocation of 1800 or was that the amount that applied to go?
-
Colo and Enrique got caught a few times today and we were pretty lucky not to get punished. Against a better side we could've paid dearly for it.
-
Feeling a little bit better but theres still a hell of a lot of work to be done. Our fixture list in the run in is pretty harsh...
-
I agree, it looks like Bassong keeps pushing them up and we don't have the pace if we get it wrong. aye, and Enrique was asleep in our latest escape.
-
West Brom really are awful. Normally I'd feel very nervous in this situation but their showing their true colours imo. If we keep at it we'll destroy them, their confidence is shot to pieces, like.

Is that a song for Peter Lovenkrands Im hearing?
-
Theres bound to be more goals for both teams. Both teams are shite.....although WBA just edge I think. Just.
-
I cant be bothered to trail through 7 pages but has Aidy Boothroyd been mentioned yet? I'd quite like to see him here. A good, young manager and a decent motivator.
-
I'd love to see Kazenga given more of a run in the 1st team. He's been left out of the squad today (Vs WBA) which is a shame imo because he's an 'impact player' and we dont have many of them in our team (or to come off the bench). Whenever I've seen young Kaz come on he hasnt been afraid to run with the ball and looks confident enough. He seems to do more than Duff does anyway... By the sounds of it himself and Ranger seem to have the best chance of breaking through.....although Johnny Godsmark sounds promising as well.

Sunderland season tickets next year will cost £19
Mistle17 replied to Felling Mag's topic in Football
Well with all this bloody TV rights money being given to the clubs these days its about fucking time they set affordable prices for fans. I cant imagine we'll be doing this anytime soon.... But I think it is true that the mackems obviously have a problem trying to fill their stadium.....but nonetheless fair play. I have a mate in Germany whos a big Werder Bremen fan and he's able to get tickets for €10! Sickening. -
I always loved Beckham, come to think of it. Him and Owen we're my England favourites.
-
NUFC- Shearer Ever- Shearer Non-Toon- Its a tough one but either Del Piero or Batistuta. Not too sure though. Sadly, I wasnt alive to see the 80's greats etc.
-
Good point. The ticket prices our just ridiculously high and considering the current state the country is in, its even more scandalous.
-
As you said, stay away from club merchandise, Sports Direct merchandise and marches/protests AFTER the game.

I heard that. Made a lot of sense. Have they stopped it now? Cause I cant hear owt...

Very depressing article, but sadly has some good points. It is getting a bit tiring to read the same old pessimistic shite, but the fact of the matter is that this is the reality we find ourselves in. TF are right- The club's best assets are being striped from us and being replaced with lesser/inadequate replacements. Ashley has an image of creating an Arsenal-like model club....which in reality will take years to produce the goods, but the main thing he doesnt understand is that you MUST invest in the present. Even Arsene Wenger does that, ffs. Ashley doesnt have a clue. And all this Dennis Wise business- ffs please someone tell me what the fuck thats all about! Its not like he's even working in the area! He commutes the odd time from bloody London! As for the Milner saga- Well, wasnt Keegan promised Sebastian Schweinsteger from Bayern as Jimmy's replacement? Im quite sure thats what I've heard. Plus the signing of 'Nacho' Gonzalez?! What a load of bollox. I think there's a reason Valencia were willing to loan him out.....and we found out. This transfer window has been a complete disaster simply because they are clueless as to how to run a top club like Newcastle United, and they couldnt be fucking arsed. If they really did want Johnson or whoever, then they would've signed them because we (supposedly) had £16m to spend. It just stinks of incompetence on their behalf. And lets face it, Nolan probably wouldnt have been signed if Barton hadnt of gotten injured. But what amuses me is that we're able to include someone like Ryan Taylor in the deal for N'Zogbia, but we couldnt do that with Johnson and City? Its a joke. If Ashley and his crew stay beyond the summer, I feel it will only delay the inevitable pain of relegation.

is Taylor better than Duff on the wing? he certainly isn't better than N'zogbia. Horrible window yet again Really..a player from Bolton and one from wigan?? Shows how low our expectations are..buying off clubs around us.. Yep should have signed Lampard and Ronaldo. No one's asked for massive signings FFS Just an improvement on our squad

like you kicked up a fuss when people protested about the board who gave you regular european football for the only time in your life. Morons mackems.gif Do you know who put us in the current financial state we're in, NE5? Although people going on about high wages, weren't Viduka, Geremi, Barton etc all signed under Ashley? Not saying at all Shepherd is blameless btw as he's far from it. I'm quite sure he replaced Parker when he left at the end of Shepherds time. Correct me if Im wrong but I think thats what happened.
