I've come to learn in the past that these sort of runs must end some time. But still, could back worse teams Torquay... Look, I'm sorry! I suffered too You're lucky I had other winners that day or you'd have been banned from my flat! That bet we discussed a week last Sunday, the price should be online tomorrow so I'll text you to let you know if we're piling in. And will do about the potential avalanche bet!

I wish I were you, David.

I wouldn't mind seeing Perch in for Williamson. Williamson is really awful- him and Simpson (the latter more so) are so glaringly obvious the weak links in our other very competent team.

Take it easy, man The fact of the matter is that Pardew has implemented a dire style of football into our team when it is blatantly obvious that it brings little or no success. People have the right to be frustrated that we have, for no logical reason, abandoned the style of play- decent ball- that got us to our current lofty height. Especially considering the players Pardew has at his disposal. And the fact that Pardew refuses to play our most creative and naturally gifted player instead of a mediocre one-trick pony in Ryan Taylor. Pardew has done very well for himself, but he's starting to undo it all and in the last couple of months has, imo, signalled that he will only be able to take us so far. Don't really disagree with much of that.. but "Agree with HTT" is not equal to your post. "Agree with HTT" is a sentence that no sane man should utter. Edit: Seriously, the man thinks we'd be better off with him in charge. He think he's got more ability to manage a football team than Alan Pardew. I just don't know. It's just wrong. Don't get me wrong, I can see why his posts might not go down with you (plural), but I think he has the right idea about Pardew. He's just simply not able to get the best out of a very talented side (at the moment, at least). Whether HTT is one for the job I'm not so sure. Poll?

What I find most frustrating about Pardew is that he appears to be oblivious to his mistakes, or just too downright stubborn to change.

I think a bit like Pardew's comment about us sinking to their level after Cattermole had been instructed to try and break a leg in the first minute, maybe as fans we sink to their level of abuse on occasions too. However I've always seen the respective rivalry as being quite different, theirs is a bitter hatred which seems fuelled by a feeling of inferiority and a huge chip on the shoulder about all things Newcastle, ours is a kind of p*ss taking thing about all things Sunderland which comes from a feeling of birthright and footballing superiority. It's not quite as pronounced as the Boro thing where they hate us but we're hardly bothered about them, but it does seem nowadays that the macums have a bitter hatred while we just, well we just laugh at them really. Back in the bad old days when there was much more of a raw edge about it and police escorts and even segregation were not used, Sunderland were nothing really and we did and went as we pleased down there. They have become a lot more hostile since the internet and all ticket segregation etc arrived. Boro were always a different kettle of fish and you had to be a lot more careful down there. Great post. Although I must admit that I really do find myself hating the mackems after yesterday- quite bitter towards them, in fact.

Aye. Bit rich MON and McClean complaining when they should've been down to 10 men from the off. McClean's tackle on simpson was a clear red-card and dean's decision to book simpson afterwards was a complete farce. Do referee's expect players to shake hands after being clattered after a 2 foot challenge. just seen this one again. very lucky boy/deformed maggoty weasel troll

What time is MOTD on at tonight?

Thank you so much Shola- if it wasn't for you I would be having the most miserable evening (and week ahead) imaginable I thank you with many thanks, Mr. Ameobi

Thought O'Shea did areet for them, like. McFanny was pretty tame tbh.
-
I love the way they haven't beaten us since the season we got fucking relegated, man. Pathetic club.
-
I hate everything to do with that horrible, pathetic little shithole of a football club and a 'city'. Fucking vile supporters and staff. Hate them so much, I hope they were sick to the pits of their stomachs after Shola's goal.

Why's that so good? I don't know the faintest thing about oirish football. You'll see why Irish league champions (twice in a row) against a team that epitomises the shitness of the Orish league. Sounds like a grand awl bet!

Shamrock Rovers -1 @ evens. Delicious.

Just thinking about it- we're only playing Sunderland ffs If they weren't our rivals and it was just another league game the predictions on here would be a hell of a lot more positive! Still, it's only natural to be nervous as fuck. If Pardew has his wits about him and our lads are up for it then I see no reason why we cannot win. The mackems are certainly improved but they cant touch us when we're at our best (ie Man Utd at home).
-
So nervous for this now.

I'm neither criticising or praising Pardew here, but if you think about it with the players we have why should we not be expecting to beat most teams in this mediocre league? We should expect a decent standard of football with the likes of Coloccini, Santon, Cabaye, Tiote, Ben Arfa, Guthrie, Jonas, Ba and Cisse at our disposal- all very capable technical players.
