  1. My mate who's a Man Utd fan was, with a straight face, saying before the end of the season how McLean was going to have the likes of Puyol, Ramos and Chiellini in his pocket Unbelievable.

He's made some canny goal line clearances for us, but that is completely outdone by the utter turboshit defending he's given us from his game on the whole throughout his time here.
  3. The writing in the bottom left hand corner of that Liverpool away shirt poster looks like the font they use in Nazi Zombies...
  4. I'm sure it's already been mentioned, but did anyone see Sky Sports declare that, "King Kenny will be a very tough act to follow at Anfield"? That was during one of their 'exclusive' reports on Rodgers signing. What a bunch of tossers
  5. I like the look of Portugal's team (on paper). But isn't that always the way. They'll do well to get out of their group, but there's no reason they can't be a surprise package imo. Have a feeling Poland could surprise a few people, too. And as for no Soldado...
  6. Because of 2nd and 4th choice goalkeepers that almost certainly won't be used anyway during the tournament? Does depth not matter like? If Hart gets injured, we have to pick Rob Green or a 'keeper whose been playing in League 2 this season. If Casillas picks up an injury, they have the choice of three others who aren't a great deal worse than he is. Could be done for pretty much any position. Rooney's out for the first two, we have to go with Carroll or Welbeck. Villa is out for Spain, they now have the choice of Torres, Soldado and Llorente. That's before even getting to the likes of Negredo. Of course the squad depth does matter. But it's not that often the case that goalkeepers get injured on major tournaments. Yes, although you're quite unlikely to use four different 'keepers throughout a tournament, I read his post as a reference to the general strength in depth countries such as Spain have/we lack.
  7. If you go to the 6th picture in on this, where Krul saves from QPR's SWP at Loftus Road, you can see 'crazy eyes' from Mr. Deeds was there watching... http://www.nufc.co.uk/page/News/Gallery/0,,10278~2788178,00.html
  8. I too am content with his reign. I would classify myself as happy if it weren't for the vandalism of our beloved St. James' Park. It's something that really grates me. It doesn't matter how high up we win, it will still upset me.
  9. I'd also like to see who we buy first before making any solid decision.
  10. Do you really think it was the worst performance you've seen from NUFC? I can think of 5 or 6 worse this season. I know it sounds extreme, and I'm sure a few old-timers will pull me up on it, but I thought it was horrendous. Granted it wasn't our strongest line up, but as a collective it was a shambles. Our formation was a blob for most of the game, whilst our distribution and retention of the ball was sickening! How we won that I'll never know Saying that, performances against Wigan in the league cup under Souness were very grim, too.
  11. When's Woy announcing the England team?
  12. Although it was possible the worst performance I've ever seen from an NUFC side, I thought that Obertans breakaway goal away to Blackburn in the last minute was immense! It put the game to bed, but the defiance of 'E-I-E-I-O' being belted out after that was special! I wouldn't say its my favourite moment but its right up there! As is Cabaye's goal against Blackburn in the league cup! The celebrations after that, man
  13. Poland's team looks half decent! I think they could pull off a surprise or two, especially with home advantage. Can't wait for it to start after seeing the teams now!
  14. Didn't know City have only ever won the top English division twice? Well, they're not Massive Club Citeh for nowt, eh!
  15. Where's that from? Seems like a lot of effort to go to from our lot, i'm not really that arsed about Citeh. .com
  16. They were cramming 85 thousand into Maine Road every week in the old Second Division. Another 20k watching the game on big screens outside the ground. The fact that they can't sell out at home even though they're on the verge of winning the league and had about 5k empty seats for their first ever Champions League match is irrelevant. As is the fact they have to steal celebrations off other clubs because they're such a boring, gormless bunch of c***s.
  17. Their support was absolutely shit until they scored- even then they hardly had Level 7 rocking. They've always had the attitude that they're the best set of fans in the world. Don't know where they get it from.
  18. Such a chip on the shoulder mentality, that
  19. Did anyone else seem to think the first half went on forever? Second half flew by...
  20. After they scored their first it was always gonna be hard to get back into it, with Mancini's 'shut up shop' mentality going 5 at the back. I thought Pards did the right thing to make us more direct and more options in the box. Fergie impressed me when he came on. With Webb involved today we were never really going to get anything. What an absolute disgrace that cunt is.
  21. Have 'Where The Streets Have No Name' blasting!! The sun is shining, the Toon is buzzing. Lets fucking smash these cunts!! CMOOOON!!
