I remember last season (I think) that Swansea vs Cardiff in the Championship was an 11am kick off at the Liberty Stadium. That wasn't even on tele.

The last time Sky showed a Wear-Tyne derby was when we lost 1-2 in the relegation season. In terms of Tyne-Wear derbies, I think they've showed the last 4 or so..

Aye it's an absolute joke when you see hordes of people streaming out into the concourse to beat the beer lines. I was tempted to shout out 'What, did the ref blow for half time yet? Why is everyone leaving?' I love a few drinks as much as the next fella, but ffs support your team! . That doesn't have to be, as has been said, singing yourself horse for 90mins! It can just mean watching the match and encouraging etc. Making yourself heard. The two seats behind me were empty for about 10mins into the 2nd half- I wasn't too unhappy about that as it meant I could stand and watch/sing. But it really does make you wonder why people bother. Thankfully in the Strawberry Corner it's got a good amount of like minded people like me who want to make a bit of noise and be vocal. And it's a big shame because I'm sure there are a lot of people on here and otherwise who aren't able to make it to games and support NUFC yet would kill to be there and watch every minute of the game.

Their ground only holds 48k-49k. They never come near to filling it though.
