I hate everything to do with that horrible, pathetic little shithole of a football club and a 'city'. Fucking vile supporters and staff. Hate them so much, I hope they were sick to the pits of their stomachs after Shola's goal.
  2. Why's that so good? I don't know the faintest thing about oirish football. You'll see why Irish league champions (twice in a row) against a team that epitomises the shitness of the Orish league. Sounds like a grand awl bet!
  3. Just thinking about it- we're only playing Sunderland ffs If they weren't our rivals and it was just another league game the predictions on here would be a hell of a lot more positive! Still, it's only natural to be nervous as fuck. If Pardew has his wits about him and our lads are up for it then I see no reason why we cannot win. The mackems are certainly improved but they cant touch us when we're at our best (ie Man Utd at home).

    Alan Pardew

I'm neither criticising or praising Pardew here, but if you think about it with the players we have why should we not be expecting to beat most teams in this mediocre league? We should expect a decent standard of football with the likes of Coloccini, Santon, Cabaye, Tiote, Ben Arfa, Guthrie, Jonas, Ba and Cisse at our disposal- all very capable technical players.
  5. Tbh, I think that any manager would dent his popularity somewhat by losing to the mackems, not just Pardew. And also, why would you be more nervous about an online forum turning into a tirade of abuse against the manager rather than the fact that we've lost to our most bitter rivals and have to face those inbreds gloating for years about it?
  6. What's keeping me hopeful is that we seem to be a 'big game side' this season. Games like mackems away, Spurs (home), Man Utd (home and away) were all big big testers for us and we rose to the occasion so I'm praying we continue that one Sunday. One thing is for certain though, St James' must be an absolute bear-pit for the scum. There must be 50,000 Geordies baying for mackem blood and put every ounce of pressure possible on the referee to give us everything. This is what the major difference between the two legs are, that we always seem to have a more intimidating atmosphere- even now a lot of their players wont have experienced anything like this. If we even sense a sniff of weakness we must absolutely be blowing the house down. This goes from before kick-off to all the way through the game. Fucking howay!!
  7. The last time the beat us in SJP was in 2000. Shearer missed 'that' penalty. Otherwise, they've only beaten us once in 11/12 years- that win in our relegation season their first home win against us in nearly 30 years. Clearly, their the bigger club.
  8. I'm not going to lie, the Wolves equaliser knocked the stuffing out of me. I still tried to urge the team on and get a winner but I was too stunned tbh. Admittedly I screamed 'f*ck off' when the final whistle went and stormed home but I struggle to control my emotions when it comes to football But for the record I think that for the position we are in St.James' should be more of a cauldron of noise and aggression towards the opposition. However, in saying that, I think it's still million times better than the majority of other Premiership grounds.
  9. Haha, you're welcome. Shame you couldn't get the rest on too but at least you got your cash down. Think I've served you well this weekend! Thank you, master Telling you, man, RL is where the real money is to be made. Indeed it is! Unbelievable profits to be made there like. Tell me what we will profit from next week, oh worthy one! Whatever it is, I cant see it beating this weeks avalanche

    Alan Pardew

Blackburn away was when I really started to question Pardew, that's gained serious momentum at this stage.
  12. I don't disagree, I just think we have bigger problems than him and until the bigger problems are removed I'll concentrate on them unless he's costing us goals or points. He is by far our biggest problem in the team. Please enlighten on our 'bigger' problems.

    Alan Pardew

todays team selection, while not what i'd have picked was enough to beat wolves. the tactics of containment and hit on the break were crap. I totally agree, but why when the game was pegged back to 2-2 were we playing with only one striker up front for 10-15mins? Ridiculous. And why is it that from the start of the 2nd half we played a very deep line when Wolves had little pace to get in behind us? We should have come out with a well focused mentality and look to finish the game off! Whether all of that is down to Pardew or not is debatable, but he should be playing a major role in that. And why Ben Arfa was only given 15 minutes is just something I cant even fathom...

    Alan Pardew

In our last 5 league games (QPR, Fulham, Blackburn, Villa, Spurs) before today I cannot recall a single convincing performance. Our form has declined sharply since that Man Utd win. Despite it being a win that Blackburn game was absolutely horrendous- possibly one of the worst showings I've ever witnessed from us, whilst the Spurs game was just a whimper of a 'performance'. Results are starting to become worryingly inconsistent and Pardew must arrest this problem starting with next week. His team selections and tactical (or lack of) interventions during games are nothing short of mediocre, imo. Thankfully we've had such a good season up until now so we don't have to be looking over our shoulders, but days like today are infuriating and totally unacceptable.
  15. If I were one of the players my heart would just sink every time he was on my team in training. I can see Ba and Cisse being the two captains and picking their teams and then they do rock-paper-scissors over who avoids Simpson.
  16. Got on Paddy Powers special offer 4/1 Aguero anytime scorer tomorrow Vs Blackburn. Cheers/sorry Ash

    Hatem Ben Arfa

    In a ferking nutshell, man.
  18. dunno, you can kind of picture him sat at home in one of those big old people type chairs, looking mournfully through his french doors to his garden. the phone rings in the hall way and his face lights up. Mrs Bruce answers the phone, he strains to hear, "Oh hello maureen......no nothing, i'm sure something will come up soon..........". steve turns his head back to the garden, forlorn. a tear runs down his cheek and splashes on a crumpled up greggs pastie sized bag at his feet.
  19. I really cant see any hope for Wolves. The only players that would bother me from their starting line up is Doyle and Fletcher, but otherwise there's very little to worry about. O'Hara on his day is canny- Jarvis, maybe (if up against Simpson). Their defence is absolutely abysmal however and with the firepower we have upfront in Ba and Cisse, Tiote and Cabaye returning will see us have a pretty much full strength side. Wolves' midfield is weak and we should be looking to capitalise on the incredibly limited Karl Henry back in the side. I really hope that Ben Arfa plays instead of Raylor, him up against someone like Stephen Ward would be just fantastic. I'll go for a 3-0.
