Why would they though? He’s part of the fabric of the club. It’s like us receiving an offer for Gordon at £65m, he’s worth much more to them and they’d then need to replace him.

The Bowen transfer is one of those that doesn’t seem to make sense for either a buyer or the selling club. I’d really hope we’re not going to drop £60m + on him. He’s probably worth more to West Ham so they’d want a huge fee.

NUFC kits & merchandise - 2025/26 home kit leaked pg. 825

The New Era caps and bobbles are back in stock on the club site. Including the natty ‘NUFC’ badged one. -
Last 16: Romania 0-3 Netherlands; Austria 1-2 Turkey

Hernandez is excellent, Onana looks terrible. -
Have the PL introduced a new anti-NUFC rule that states we can only buy DCL when shopping for strikers?

Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

I wonder if Howe considers Hall a possibility in that left midfield slot. -
This looks like manufactured bullshit but I’ve got a bad feeling about it. How much would the club want? Surely it would be north of £80m? Another player who is priceless for us in my opinion.

This reminds me of selling Andy Carroll to Liverpool. In the morning I laughed it off, by lunchtime I was getting more concerned. Feels like that lunchtime again….

So next season we are lining up: Barnes DCL Elanga So grateful PSR is preventing us from becoming another Portsmouth.
-
What’s happening with Lewis Hall? Have we officially signed him? Is his transfer part of this PSR period or the next one?
-
I’d let Barnes go before Minteh.

Hard to reconcile being wedged and owned by PIF with constantly being worried about losing our best players to the legacy ‘six’. I thought Barca/Real would be the only viable destinations when some of these players wanted to scratch a certain itch. Chelsea, Arsenal and the other ESL conspirators can get fucked.

Alexander Isak - Nominated for Player of the Season

If we sell Isak we might as well pack up and go home. -
Yankuba Minteh (now playing for Brighton & Hove Albion)
Novocastrian replied to 54's topic in Football
His performances in the Eredivisie would suggest, at the very least, we take a closer look at him before making any decision on his future. There’s at least half’ a dozen ‘saleable’ assets that I’d sell to generate income first. Finally the players we are being linked with seem like squad fillers and not the ready made first 11 improvements we need. Yes I know it’s early in the window and the club doesn’t want to show its hand too early. If we are going to let a player of his profile go (we aren’t Chelsea and we don’t have multiple young starlets) let’s hope we are bringing in a Chiesa or someone who will take us to the next level. -

I hope it’s Roma or another foreign club and we have at least some type of first dibs on a buy back option. Baffling decision otherwise. -
Group E: 1. Romania, 2. Belgium, 3. Slovakia (Q), 4. Ukraine

Tielemans playing like prime Pirlo. -
It’s Ashleyesque. Hoping most of this is paper talk.

If we are having to sell Minteh to buy DCL I’d really rather not bother.

Most frustrating NUFC player I watched over the last 10-15 years. Definitely had talent though. -

60 minutes of excruciating Southgate-ball after an excellent start. The Southgate template. Rice MOTM, he was outstanding. Kane runs like the Newcastle version of Geremi but not as quick. -

Apparently they have 20 players in their squad who are 6ft + -
Doubt Olise would be jumping out of his foreskin to join an NUFC without Bruno or Isak.

Always gets me going listening to the Keel Row. -
He’d be mad to go to City with all of the charges hanging over them. I must admit I only ever saw him leaving for Real/Barca, I couldn’t bear to see him playing for another English club. BTW I know this is most probably bollocks.
