I know I shouldn’t be but I’m shocked at how poor Leicester have been.

Only if we stop scoring altogether, we’ve hit 13 in three games, would need a huge swing.

Just about, another win and a couple of draws I think. LiVARpool will drop points.

They’re riding their luck, that doesn’t last for 5/6/7 game stretches. They were very lucky against West Ham. We win today and Liverpool are done.

Highly unlikely that Liverpool win all of their remaining games. If they had that in them they’d already be firmly top 4.

I’ve thought 71 but looks like 70 will do. In reality, we may not even need that many.

So close now, beat Southampton and we are within spitting distance. The others are getting close to needing 100% record in the run in.

We just need to keep winning, the other teams are running out of road. We need 7 points out of next 3 games to keep that gap.

Not all ex-players have the insight and the vocabulary to analyse a game. Didn’t realise Rose had been suffering, he spoke from the heart but doesn’t appear to be right. I hope he gets the support he needs. We often forget about these lads as they are extremely well remunerated but they are, largely, working class lads trying to make sense of the position they’ve found themselves in.

After playing for many years at the highest level and working with some of the most elite managers in the game it should be a given they ‘know’ about football. I think there’s an additional dimension to football management and tactics that only the deepest thinkers and strategists can unlock. The likes of Lampard and Gerrard are either lacking this faculty or they understand but cannot impart this knowledge to their players.

You see the same from a lot of the ex-pro pundit crowd. They are too arrogant and self satisfied to prepare properly and do their homework. Especially for European games where the players and managers aren’t as familiar.

He’s been poor for weeks, the Colbackesque grabbing and pulling against Villa was infuriating. He’s the only player I worry about in possession. He’s a great backup CB but I’ve seen enough of him at LB.

Beat Spurs and Brighton and we should be almost there.

Can’t see where anywhere said that, I think Howe had been tactically outthought today though.
