To me that would leave us woefully short for PL/CL campaign.

What’s the sizing like? Bought the player version last season in L, was a bit tight, swapped it for XL and it swamps me like a tent.

I know he’s got good numbers but I’d prefer someone a bit more ‘explosive’.

TBH they should just provide the arms with each short sleeved shirt and some Velcro for when you want to go long sleeved.

Possibly, Rooney was genuinely exciting though.

Last time I recall the media saying a player ‘was favouring a move to Newcastle’ it was Wayne Rooney and he signed for Man United the next day. He’s not coming here.

When you look at some of the teams Cup Winners Cup winners had to beat you can clearly see the Fairs Cup was a much harder competition to win.

This, Everton would no doubt love to piss on our chips but how far are they going to go? Will they scrap for every ball for 90 mins? Throw themselves into last ditch tackles? Put their bodies on the line chasing lost causes? I can’t see it, we need an early goal and they’ll fold.

With matches being played simultaneously and with a goal potentially being scored at any time I’d hate to go into the 90th minute with both games poised at 1-1. We need to put these Scouse twats to bed in the first half.
