  1. Not sure how to respond. It's so obvious it's a wind-up and so overused that it's not funny. But maybe that's the joke. Maybe some post-ironic sarcasm which has blown my mind. Let me retort with this: http://media.lolwall.co/c/2012/09/i-have-no-idea-what-s-going-on_248960-700x.jpg
  2. It's this place, I'm positive. Over a long period of time I'm positive I have much more success when I don't post my bet. Heaven knows I've posted a fuckload of losses in here.
  3. Bar Krul, we were far from exceptional. Is it a fair comment to say it was - and here comes the cliche - a good time to play Spurs? Inevitably such a comment would imply no credit should be given to you, which isn't the case whatsoever, but does the sentiment hold true? good time to play spurs ? you mean after a euro midweek game ? (personally i think it is a mitigating factor but according to many it couldn't be for us so it can't be for them) I was more pointing to the fact they're clearly not firing on all cylinders currently and their manager quite obviously doesn't know his strongest side too. But regardless, as I said I'm not saying this should take credit away from your win. The fact they played on Thursday I would rank as a minor factor, no more important than any given player being injured.
  4. Ugh. How's Cleverley's breakout year going?

    Loïc Remy

A predator, according to Collymore. Thanks, Stan.

    Sunderland

Larsson is a despicable cunt. Otherwise, a deserved win.
  8. No. GW12: Everton 1-2 Liverpool Arsenal 1-1 Southampton Fulham 2-1 Swansea Hull 1-0 Crystal Palace Newcastle 1-1 Norwich Stoke 0-0 Sunderland West Ham 0-2 Chelsea Man City 2-1 Tottenham Cardiff 0-3 Man Utd West Brom 2-2 Aston Villa
  9. Does seem to be when we are expected to lose, we turn in a good performance and result. Which suggests that your manager is a reactive one - not dissimilar to Moyes in that aspect. Can often surprise people when the pressure is supposedly off and nick a goal but when needing a plan to break down a team, can look clueless.
  10. Was listening to this at work. Highlight of the match was Collymore describing Remy as a "predator". Great win, congrats. It sounded like the usual "you could say Spurs didn't play well but that's because Newcastle didn't let them play well" thing? Or were you exceptional or Spurs simply that bad?
  11. Anyone else make a pretty penny with these mental odds?

    Sunderland

Would imagine Wigan for one have regularly had way below that. Seem to remember a Wigan v Hull game which had something like 5,000.
  13. Mint. The line may be overplayed but some fucking mental things happen in South American football.
  14. That tackle after about 10 minutes was atrocious like. Dunno how the SL bloke avoided a serious injury. Only a yellow card anarl.
  15. 12 - Spurs v Newcastle 2.05 - Sunderland v Man City 4.10 - Man Utd v Arsenal 6 - Villarreal v Atletico Madrid 7.45 / 8 - Juventus v Napoli / Betis v Barcelona Internationals next week so best fill your boots.
  16. I'm not confident given our last 2 games and our perennial bottle-jobs against you. Think you're massive value odds-wise.
  17. 1-1 so far, really good game. Some "tasty" challenges.
  18. Love a class free kick where the goalie doesn't even move, even though they should probably at least try. Just makes it look even better.
  19. Oh aye, that was Towelie being a right dick.
  20. Which league is the latter in?
