How on earth these jokers are getting a chance and Osman hasn't is beyond me. It's like manager after manager, regardless of their intelligence, pick random players based on them being in the media or having a "story". Lallana - newly promoted. Sterling - suddenly played a couple of games. Whereas players like Osman who've shown good technical ability in the Premier League for a good few years now are completely ignored.
  3. All goals of the season after being shouted at to shoot from distance each time. Probably all preceded by a succession of Xavi-esque passes from him in the middle of the park.

The reality of the situation is if you're not in the CL and you have a very good player on your hands, they will to some degree want to play in the CL. Therefore, in that sense you'll have players who want to leave. It's an impossible situation though - how can Moyes seriously tell Fellaini he's going to achieve that with Everton? It's possible but very unlikely. It's sad really but that's where we're at. It's as though any good player will automatically float to the top, and it's up to other clubs - clubs of the ilk of Everton and Newcastle, for example - to get what they can out of them earlier in their career.
  5. Had a small stake on various South American games yesterday. This Brazillian team (2nd division) had won 11 out of 11 games at home and sat 2nd. They were at home to a mid-table team who were in mediocre form. So obviously I had the home team in my bet. They lost 4-0.
  6. It's ridiculous, he's got to be the 'bigger' man and resolve it. It's all because Fletcher pulled out of a friendly via txt message when he had just gone to the premiership. I think it's widely accepted that he would come back to play if Levein sorted it out. So it's Levein who's refusing to pick him? For some reason thought it was Fletcher being a knob.
  7. Luis Fabiano has been comically bad.
  8. Though I like the way you make it sound like you literally had £5 to your name and it was the very last roll of the dice.

Long - 5 year contract signed less than a year ago. Not surprising that a very good player who deserves to be playing at CL level wants to play at that level. Completely unnecessary him coming out with these comments though. Absolutely. Everton and Moyes should slap him with a fine. No place for these comments at this stage of the season. From Everton's point of view he'll be a marked man now as far as his performances and body language/behavior go. Any below par showings will be attributed to these comments and his desire to leave. Stupid. It's perhaps made worse because of the good start we've had. A poor performance at West Brom aside it's been very promising. This is a particularly poor time to be coming out with shite like this, just when it looks like things were going well and we had a good shot at challenging for the top 4/5/6.

    Ronaldo unfortunately scores.
  13. Funny if your players get injured between now and the next league games.
  14. I've 6 matches from 10 in the JPT I picked from. 3 out of the 10 have had both teams score - none of them in my 6 fold ffs. Edit: IT'S ON, definitely going to win.
  15. Got a fairly daft (fuck's sake Beren just seen your comment, fuck you* ) fiver on a 6 fold 'both teams to score' Games at: Carlisle Accrington Coventry Southend Pompey Northampton *
  16. Players bottled it. They've been naive from back to front. I'll let you off this time, Neil. But if you try that again... Another heel turn's in the offing considering the next match coming up.

  18. Are you going to throw Bigi in do you reckon? I have to say I thought him and Anita were your best players yesterday. He obviously has a lot of developing to do experience-wise but early signs are good with him considering he's what, 18, and was playing for Coventry? Great deal of maturity.
  19. Well I was going to say, if it's fitness then it's seriously unprofessional. But not sure how he could be unhappy. Maybe he thinks his place is untouchable?
  20. Is it simply an issue of fitness for Cabaye recently? And Cisse for that matter. On form they'll win the game for you.
  21. These are the types of games that Tiote thrives in, and his passing only appears to be crap because often at times at home he's the one taking responsibility and trying to make things happen when others around him aren't doing anything, which we all know isn't his game. Away games when we're under more pressure, when we're trying to get a result is when he shines, winning the ball back, keeping possession ticking over. So you're totally wrong tbh. If I were you I'd hope he's out injured. Was the game two years ago Tiote's first start for us? I remember him being absolutely fantastic in that game, and I have no doubt that he will be if he's fully fit for this one too. He impressed me a lot too in that game but whenever I've seen him recently he's looked half the player. But there you go. I'd rather he was out injured - as I've just said he's a good player. But not as good as is made out. Regardless, I'll trust your view. He could turn up and run the game and I'll be left with egg on my face.
