  1. Literally the only thing I had a gut feeling for tonight. Congrats anyone else who won money.
  2. Twice in recent memory (Man City v Chelsea this season and more recently Wolfsburg v Man Utd) I ignored my instinct which would have won me £450+ on each occasion, and tried to do a "safer, smarter" bet. So fuck research, going with my gut. The issue being I have absolutely no idea how this game is going to go.
  3. Honestly man. Such a terrible, lazy soundbite. From just this weekend gone: Koln 2-1 Dortmund Stuttgart 3-1 Wolfsburg As for Klopp, as much as it pains me to say it, I think he has had too much success with Dortmund (and previously Mainz for that matter) for him not to be a success with Liverpool. The issue they have currently is a massive lack of impact going forward in light of Coutinho underperforming, Firmino being garbage and Sturridge being a perma-crock. Ibe looks promising in parts but not good enough yet, whereas Benteke and Origi look lost most of the time. It's telling that in the games away from home against teams you'd expect to attack them and take the initiative (to varying degrees) they've looked impressive - at Southampton, Chelsea, Man City. In those games they can rely on their pace to create the space on the counter. In several home games, as well as away games versus teams who typically would want to "keep it solid" and then break on them, they've looked clueless as to how to break them down, because they've needed sharp, quick passing to unlock teams and they've just not had that on too many occasions. And when you don't have a good defence to bail you out, you'll find trouble soon enough, a la 3-0 v Watford, a last minute 2-2 at home to West Brom and 2-0 at Newcastle. It is a bit annoying mind, if not surprising, as to how Klopp was portrayed by the media as Jesus himself after 'masterminding' that win at Man City, but several garbage results later he now 'needs time' to change the way they play, whereas other foreign managers are immediately labelled as being "under pressure" if they don't have a good start. The preferential treatment obviously isn't going to change anytime soon, just the way it is.
  4. Not a spectacular finish but it's a pretty brilliant one from that angle.
  5. next 3 quite possibly, away to Everton and Liverpool then 3 days after Liverpool home to Man City, tough ask for any side. Of course, but look at another way - we can't keep clean sheets (or beat any of Bournemouth, Palace or Norwich), Liverpool were fortunate to scrape a point at home to West Brom, while Man City don't look remotely arsed half the time.
  6. Mourinho also looked like a defeated man. Can't even be bothered anymore to come up with ludicrous referee-based excuses.
  7. So.... when are Leicester going to let up? Everyone is assuming they're going to slip up, but I currently don't know why they would. They have to be taken seriously as CL candidates at least.
  8. Despite that I'm hoping for some Messi magic. Barca over 1.5tg Roma over 2.5tg Chelsea over 1.5tg Btts and over 2.5 Arsenal game
  9. Absolutely fucked it up tonight. It was between Naldo, Vierinha and Rodriguez for in-play anytime. Guess which one I went for. I stupidly researched it and saw Naldo and Vierinha had 1 goal between them this season. Thought RR, free kick and penalty taker ,was a wiser bet. Fuck off. Great to see the forum winning so much tonight though. Well done to all!
  10. What?! He barely deserved to finish the game, let alone get a lucky assist, especially let alone bonus points. This game, man.
  11. Can see another bore draw. Not the most appealing game for this offer (which clearly bet365 know), but still worth a go.
  12. Clearly a poor result but we didn't play badly. Deulofeu's end product was terrible tonight but he was easily our most dangerous player. Credit him, he kept going and created the goal.
  13. Aye, though you should bloody hope so given the massive disparity between the supposed quality of the 2 teams.
  14. It's actually ludicrous how bad he is. Nothing like under-performing, he's become outright shit. Shame.
  15. The one time I saw Man Utd play well this season was at fucking Goodison. They're fucking dour.
  16. It's clever play from Vardy in the build up. Pelts it upfield knowing he won't get the ball immediately but creates space for the counter attack. Brilliant ball, brilliant run, brilliant finish. He's nowt special, just quick and a good finisher. Knows what he's good at and sticks to that. And he does it bloody well.
  17. Hats off, unbelievable achievement.
  18. About £100 up overall due to a 1.5 team goals treble. Was close to a really big score with a -1 treble but my own team ended up fucking it up royally.
