  1. Meh. We probably can, in truth. Either way, we don't have the money currently to get the quality striker we obviously need and I don't think whether we have Yakubu is going to make a massive difference to where we finish this season.
  2. Although it's hardly perfect, it's embarrassing how superior BBC is to ITV when it comes to live football.
  3. Kenny Miller would change this game.
  4. Scored against Blackburn on his debut didn't he with a diving header? He hit the post against us not long after, iirc; and that concludes my knowledge of Sears' career.
  5. Parker, I think, has consistently given good performances for West Ham but I sense it's more a case of standing out from the shit around him, than him being particularly great.
  6. It's been decent. West Ham have played at a high tempo and regardless of the quality you think both sides possess, I think it's been very watchable.
  7. Don't think he's that bad, personally.

    Sebastian Larsson

Messi, Iniesta and Xavi are too small for the Premiership though, thats why they play in some no hopers in a shit foreign league. I wonder how they cope on a cold Tuesday night in Bolton!!?!?!?!?!!!!?!!

    Sunderland...

Wouldn't be so sure. This is the same person that once said "I want to play for Manchester United" when reporters asked him which clubs he would leave Udinese for. Central midfield dream team of Muntari and Neville.
  10. Err, because he's a fucking quality player? Jeez. fucking average in my opinion You can't buy experience.

    Sebastian Larsson

    Who does he play for?

    Harry Redknapp

Of course he's going nowhere, Moyes fucking worships him.
  14. Have a feeling Bruce is saying that just for the hell of it. Wasn't Welbeck supposed to be out for 3 weeks, and that was only announced a week/week and a half ago? Something's fishy. And it's not Bruce's afternoon snack.

    Sebastian Larsson

No, you don't tell him he'll be on the bench, you tell him, like anyone, he'd have to fight for his place in the team.

    Expansive passing.
  18. Exactly, this is the first derby in ages I don't feel really nervous about. Unless they beat us heavily, which they don't do to anyone regularly, we hold the bragging rights for the season. I don't feel nervous about it because I've already come to terms with the fact we will probably lose, as I don't believe Nolan and Smith are capable of competing as a central midfield pairing. You are only as good as your last win so the bragging rights will be pretty worthless unless we get a point. Now this lad speaks sense. You a regular or just one of the 15,000 going along on Sunday because it's Newcastle ? Working mate. Very rarely get to any games. Ah well, at least you've got a job. Haha, I'm at Uni as well. Impressive eh. Newcastle Uni per chance?

He's got experience and commitment, y'know.
