  1. I know, but my point is, at the time those 2 signings appeared to be pretty good. They seemingly had a bit of financial backing and I for one thought Birmingham wouldn't slip much this year (I think they overachieved last year).
  2. I'd be worried if I were a Birmingham fine, like. Seems odd they seem to be struggling so much* after seemingly progressing well in the summer with 2 (what appeared to be) excellent signings in the shape of Hleb and Zigic. *that said, over half the Premier League are "struggling".

  4. I think Holloway openly said he'd play a majorly weakened team. Still, the odds seem a bit exaggerated.

He still at Динамо Київ ? Also, is it full? What a Mastermind specialist subject that could be.

    Sunderland...

Even shitter its on the same day as the Brum derby. My mates doing the fanzone for Blues. Wanted to watch that Even shitter (for me, anyway) is this that this, and Liverpool-Everton are both on the day before an exam. Argh.
  8. Well whenever I think we'll lose we don't and vice versa, so God knows what'll happen tomorrow. We have a penchant for getting beat by lower-league teams - Oldham, Tranmere, Bradford (all at home), Brentford (less than 4 months ago), Shrewsbury etc, just to name a few from the recent past. Hence 9/2 is decent enough. Scunthorpe/draw perhaps?
  9. I wonder who'll get the Ronnie Radford Award this round.
  10. Pathetic fans of the ficklest order.
  11. SMF again just there. Sorry if this thread has turned into more of an irritation than a help btw, Dave. though got to say, I've had more (albeit brief) SMF connection problems recently for some reasons.
  12. 6/1!? It'll clearly be Grant. Here mate, I'll stick a few on Carlo, just to help you out.
  13. Got money on it? Roy to be sacked 5 minutes before Carlo?
  14. I think A Surprise - strange, because I thought he'd go a good job as well.
  15. Spot on. Not good enough for us. , right?

    Aston Villa

If they were going down, it wouldn't be small time at all rubbing in their faces as much as possible. It's 'banter', no?
  17. Again, if for some reason you're interested or you just like tactics, another really neat tactical analysis of our game yesterday: http://theexecutionersbong.wordpress.com/2011/01/06/everton-2-1-spurs/
  18. I really like your attitude coming here and contribute..... You are an Everton fan are we your second team? Correct!
  19. That doesn't add up? You seem to raise your game against the big teams, especially at Goodison - but for some reason fall apart against the so-called lesser teams. Seamus Coleman looks like a cracking player. We've played Tottenham twice. We're simply too predictable at times and when teams are solid defensively and close us down throughout a game, we're screwed. We need to raise our level of performance against teams we should theoretically be beating - because I refuse to believe we don't have the quality to be doing that. Those players just need to stand up and be counted. Yesterday was like a 'Moyes' Everton performance - plenty of energy and verve and we really got after the opposition, and add in a bit of quality and it's a powerful combination. Coleman indeed is coming on really well. He's certainly got stuff to work on but there's no doubt he has the talent there. The speed of his legs running furiously to get forward (which led to him scoring) amused me. Yup that was a good win for you lot. I saw you played with two up front which iirc has not been your usual tactic this season. Moyes' hand was forced, simple as that. There is zero doubt in my mind he would've gone 4-4-1-1/4-5-1 if Cahill was still around. I hope the performance shows something, joking aside, I feel we've always been able to do - play well without Cahill. Taking nothing away from his contributions, like.
  20. Delighted with last night. We really are an odd team this year - W2 D3 L1 of the matches against the top 5 teams we've had so far. Still, as I've consistently maintained, despite what's happened so far, 3 or 4 games can completely change this table and I still think we'll finish in the top 8.
  21. Little did I know that when I joked to mates last night that a Best hatrick was a dead cert, that Leon would turn into Romario.
  22. If we got £8 million for Routledge you'd want to use the money to buy Shaun Wright-Phillips?! ffs If I was in your position and got £8m for Routledge, I'd probably spaff myself silly. Just a thought.
