  1. Divvy bitch is on the Football League Show. She's canny to look at but her general irritance factor can't be ignored. Oh fuck, it's Clem. At least he's far away in Hereford.
  2. Possibly top 5 in terms of global support? Man Utd, Chelsea, Real and Barca perhaps more popular. That's just an educated guess though, it's hard to measure like.
  3. Yep, and I agree OCK. The last word sums that lot up. Well, a lot more words could be used.
  4. Hmm. Best to keep Hillsborough to the Hillsborough thread I'd dare say. Not that I have any authority like.
  5. Nice one mate. I wouldn't have the guts to put so much on with so little time left. That said, have they been on top and looking likely to score?
  6. Nah. We bagsied him. Well we didn't. But he's ours damnit!
  7. If you're that desperate, France v Romania I think.
  8. FML. For something like the 5th time in a row it looks like I'm going to be one away - Rochdale fucking it up.
  9. Might be that American coach, now that would be interersting. totally crazy awesome.

    Is Kenwright on the list?
  11. Moyes has "had enough" since 2006 man. Such a tired old statement. a) he won't be sacked and b) if in the unlikely event he does walk, I reckon it'll be close season.

Maybe I misread your post. Using frustration to your advantage and channelling it in your play is a good idea, I agree. What I was more confused by was the Blackpool/Stoke match. I only have highlights/Soccer Saturday/match report to judge the Blackpool game by but it didn't exactly look like a smash and grab from them - they sounded like they played confidently. And as for Stoke, I'd be more concerned by your own performance than Stoke's tactics. You were much the better in the first half but what did you actually create? Stoke twice hit the woodwork before scoring, and you looked incompetent from balls coming into the box - hence why I said in my opinion, the 2 teams merited 3 points. I might just be missing your point regarding those 2 matches, though.

    De Jong

Can't remember much in the way of immense power/physicality/kicking teams off the pitch. Defensive tactics aplenty but superior opposition often won. And Liverpool, tbh, didn't bully their way through the CL. 2005 had a lot of luck about it but "physical bullying", no.

    De Jong

I'm yet to hear a ref come out in support of De Jong. Can't say I've read much of Winter since he hung up his, err, whistle? But that's a very fair assessment of the situation.
  15. Ein crayzhee crayzhee gut thing.
  16. Parky want his victory over Hodgson to be confined to one thread.

You're not supposed to actually read the article, gosh!
  18. Any major injury to Gerrad and Woy is bonned. I see where you're coming from but the point isn't as powerful as it was a couple of seasons ago. Gerrard is on the way downhill and can't carry the team as he once did. Torres hasn't looked interested thus far this season as well. All in all, delightful.

Ey? Blackpool played well. You tested Gilks in the 2nd half I seem to recall but he was hardly making world-class saves, it was poor finishing. While you were much the better side against Stoke in the 1st half, you barely created anything. Stoke, for most of the 2nd half, looked threatening from every single ball that came into the box. Jones had alright hit the woodwork twice before he eventually got his goal. Neither side went to SJP and dominated as such but they can easily argue they deserved their wins, and I happen to agree.
