  1. Because they've taken plenty of points against Stoke, Portsmouth, Fulham etc at home.. They have 3 crunch away fixtures as well I believe. Can't see them winning any of them atm.
  2. I was talking League games. They've won once in the league since the beach ball in October. karmas a bitch eh Not much to do with luck - they've been shite.
  3. Hodgson is quality, but too modest. "Sunderland are notoriously difficult to beat..."
  4. Bruce says Sunderland need to stop their inconsistency soon. No Steve. You're just plain shit.
  5. THERE'S THE UNITED TEAM BUS! JUST LOOK AT IT! WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT!?
  6. It's funny how such a masterful manager and knowledgeable football guru can be so thick.
  7. anyone else think this sounded a lot like a Michael Owen transfer? I'll level with you I'm a huge fan of Robbie Keane and have been suggesting to mates and alike before we signed Owen that we tried to sign him when spurs had 47 striking options, could have probably got him for about £7-£8m at the time and got away with paying him about £40k a week. My biggest worry is we end up with Michael Owen again in the summer, and as ridiculous as that might sound, I wouldn't write it off straight away. Ronaldo..............try reading the thread next time, along with your mate, Johnny Hall, before either up your make numpties of yourselves with more ridiculous remarks. we have had too many cheque book happy managers in the past who won nothing, we have got rid of the high earners Is that why Colo is on 80k a week? Smith on 60k? Nolan on around the 40k mark? Even Xisco is on 45k a week. I thought the only actual proof of any wages was Guthrie who wasn't even pulling in 10k? There's plenty of proof of wages. Players go to Fenwicks ffs.
  8. In all seriousness, go for it. Gonna have a gander at the ficksjaz nah.
  9. Probably missed the point here but doubt I'd have him there regardless (for the WC I mean). Good player though, and most certainly not dirty. Edit: just seen he's been called up for the Egypt game. I'd give him a run out in that like (if he's mentally right to play).

  11. Very correct on Spurs, unfortunately. I'd be very surprised if we get anything.
  12. Wenger, Fabregas and the rest of the gang could do themselves a favour by stop having faces like dropped pies and most of all, stop fucking whinging. Just, shut up. I don't want to hear the irritating amalgamation of words your moaning trap has to spill.
  13. We're Chesterfield, we've won 6 in a row but whoops, Aldershot at home are too much for us. Idiots. Today: I don't know yet. I've got that dangerous "want to win after losing" feeling. Don't think I'll put too much on like.
  14. My Sunderland supporting friend is revelling in Pompey's crisis. The reason stemming from the fact the Mackems can't win against them. I shit you not.
  15. Worth a quid like. Is there anywhere you can bet on the order like that? Fwiw, I think we'll get beat at Spurs on Sunday but I see no reason why we can't win at City or Villa. Don't like any of them. Everton have shit support and certainly the most violent place I have been to (About 20 times and rarely without some grief) and Moyes is Gggggginger. Villa have particularly shit support and Martin ONeill looks like a pre-pubescent retard. City have shit support. Liverpool have numbers in terms of support but Alan Green is fairly typical. Like asking which one of Take That you would shag really. Come to think of it, it's an awful lot like that.

  17. I feel like a broken record but don't rule us out just yet. If we can nick some points in the tough 3 away games against the teams above us then my word, we have every chance. Yes we were pathetic on Thursday but assuming we don't get another bout of injuries, we are right in contention. Not really aiming for 4th. I am however rather confident we will finish higher than 8th which is where we are now. Liverpool will get 4th.
  18. Never been so tempted to back against Everton as I do on Sunday.
  19. It certainly does make you wonder. In fact, you could go as far as to say that based on tonight's performance, they'd have to be very bad indeed.
  20. Spineless Surrender II ON a mild Lisbon evening, there were sensational scenes as the playing staff of Everton Football Club simultaneously bent over and took a brutal penetration. As manager David Moyes barked useless orders from the sidelines, his team performed admirably in ther roles as waddling, lost penguins. Particularly symbolic was the rumour that before kick-off, Moyes rallied his troops with a call-to-arms of, "I'm getting sick of these late Thursday nights and actually, this whole Europe lark altogether. Go out there and do me proud..." More to follow.
  21. careful, you may get told to get over it. In which case, replace Barry with Lescott.
  22. And there's no doubt you can beat Chelsea if you play well. As has been apparent in your run, decisions seem to be going your way so I wouldn't be surprised at all if you go all the way. Wouldn't be surprised if you need a replay vs Reading like.
  23. The West Brom defending here is beyond shambolic. Great goal from Sigurdsson to win it.
