Villa can be frustrating to watch/play against (although it's usually open games between us personally). When watching them, at times it's as though they're refusing to really get at a team. Seems to be working well enough. I have a feeling they'll fade a bit over the last 8 weeks however.

Fair enough. You probably came across more apathetic than you are. What's going on at the moment? Are players getting tired/complacent?

He doesn't strike me as the type who would sit on the bench for a few seasons, though. I can see him getting above his station and demanding a move if he's whacked on the bench all next season.

The rest of the season feels a bit strange. All we can do is just see where we end up. 4th was always a bit too unrealistic and we'd need to pretty much win 9 out of our last 10 games. I reckon we'll hit the 60 point mark, and can only hope someone above us falters.

You can afford to get rid of those 8 players, and get a similar amount in? Blimey, good luck.

Think that would be a pretty decent game providing MON tells his team to actually try and play football this time. In a one-off game at a neutral ground, i.e. the potential final, I'd fancy Villa. Not saying they'd necessarily outplay you but there's something about them that makes me think they'll nick it. Might just be plain old good luck - as brummie has consistently maintained, there's that feeling of it being Villa's year, the way their run has gone thus far.

We play lovely stuff at times, glad it's been in full flow today.
