"More importantly what's happening with Man United..." Sickening comment from the presenter on Soccer Speical when referring to the Birmingham match.
-
Fucking Derby, as if I took Preston out of the treble for them too, pair of them are twats.
-
Won £20 earlier so put a daft fiver on: Cardiff to beat Plymouth Derby to beat Blackpool Charlton to beat Leyton Orient Pays around £75 roughly
-
What never came out of that match analysis was the Bristol had a perfectly good goal disallowed for offside. I don't blame Bristol, you play to the whistle, apparently they didn't even know why it had been disallowed until full time. Whether that is true or not remains to be seen.

Thought we built on the West Brom result with a decent victory but we'll see what we're really made of on midweek. Harper 6 - Not a lot to do, commanding from set pieces, kicking could have been better. R. Taylor 6 - Solid defensively, delivery into the box was hit and miss. S. Taylor 7 - Commanding performance against an unsettled attack. Coloccini 6 - Another decent performance against an attack lacking a physical presence. I still worry about him against the stronger forwards but did alright today. Enrique 8 - Commanding at the back supported the attack well, a great full back display. If I was going to be picky his delivery was inconsistent at times. Barton 6 - Got better as the game went on, was sloppy to start with but it became apparent he'll do well in this division when he finally gets himself fit. Nolan 6 - Better, needs to get himself fit but looked a lot sharper today. His distribution continues to improve and generally looked more of a threat today. Smith 7 - Did well again the defensive midfield role, needs to learn when to control himself. Jonas 6 - Always threatening, linked up well with Enrique, but for the love of God does the man know how to cross or shoot. Carroll 6 - Won most things in the air, battled well, probably unlucky not to get himself a goal. Shola 9 - Still a cumbersome b****** but at the end of the day he scored three goals, well played lad. Lua Lua 5 - Quiet when he came on, looked light weight at times. Xisco 5 - Some classy touches but looked unsurprisingly off the pace. Geremi - Can't really remember. -
MA: See Derek, told you the new board room system would win us games in the long run. Take note Barry. DL: But Mike...

I enjoyed the game but had mixed feelings overall, it was positive but it was anything but perfect. Positives: Improved retention of the ball Looked 'up for it' Smith was a hell of a lot better Krul's shot stopping Enrique Negatives: Set piece defending Distribution in the final third at times Coloccini Ryan's performance Krul's flapping

Although Juninho was mearly a suggestion he has been playing to a consistantly high class for a number of years in the Champions League.
-
I was going on the context of the initial list.
-
Juninho is getting on but is one of the best play makers on the planet. Probably the best set piece specialist knocking about too.
-
Drogba wouldn't get near that list either, part of being world class is doing it on a consistant basis, same goes for Rooney.
-
Yaya Toure is absolute class, can't believe no one has mentioned him.
-
Philip Lahm Javier Zanetti Esteban Cambiasso Yaya Toure Marcos Senna Andrea Pirlo Juninho

Nolan's put on some beef. As far as the kit goes it's alright, nothing amazing.
-
Well they are struggling to hold on to Dzecko, Milan have been sniffing round him all summer. My guess is he's his replacement.
-
More like two of the highest in Europe, amazing stuff.
-
Absolute legend. One of the few gentlemen to grace the game, thanks for the memories. Rest in peace Sir Bob.

The man talks sense, someone has to do it. Where's the sense in being fit if you can't play football? And keeping a squad intact which recently got relegated didn't already tell you this?
-
Based on some of the reactions from the Orient game: We're going to win the league!
-

Nothing like a good over reaction.
-
Means nothing if self defence is used a defence. If it holds up it usually means an absolute acquittal. Didn't look like he acted in self defence though.

Can't see the Chamakh deal coming off. He knows the likes of Arsenal have registered an interest so he'll be trying to provoke them into a move. Cana would be a decent signing for them, steady away. Nothing amazing though, there's a reason why ambitious Champions League chasing Marseille want rid. Still a big improvement on what they already have.
