League Cup Trophy Celebration: Saturday 29th March

Jimmy Nail to make an appearance? -
Only thing with that is, if he stays this summer and doesn't sign a new deal, he'll miss out on a fair chunk of change. A new contract with a release clause works for all parties. We retain him for at least another year. We get to guarantee a fixed transfer fee. He gets a pay rise. If him and his agent decide they want to move on, they know we can't price him out of a move.

The mask slips, always had gbandit down as a massive racist.

Apparently members are going to be asked to lie on the ground so that season ticket holders can stand on them to get a better view. -
If it meant I could watch him in a black and white shirt for another three years, I'd let him walk for free.
-
The endorphins when he signs that new contract are going to be off the charts.
-
Is Fab trying to manifest this move?
-
With Liverpool, it's more likely that they're putting out news of an ambitious transfer target after a grim couple of weeks. Think "we tried" but with more phlegm and a "la" at the end.
-
Schar hasn't had a great season by his usual high standards.
-
Yep, it originated from GiveMeSport's Arsenal writer and was basically a rehash of last summer's news.
-
Was it Baldwards who reported that there would be attempts to unsettle Isak? Pretty cunty stuff.
-
Just can't see us targeting Trincao at all.
-
As a rule of thumb, fans on social media tend to be as thick as pig shit though.
-
Aye, a similar thought crossed my mind. That way he gets a pay rise and we can't price him out of a move, which is what we'll do this summer.
-
Wasn't sure where to put this. It's a very good thread on our mate Hugo.
-
There seems to be a lot of noise from the Liverpool end re Isak today. Fan appeasement exercise after a exiting two competitions and TAA leaving?
-
The fact that they're talking about a potential part player swap doesn't bode well for their chances of affording him.
-
A few bits in here on potential targets.
-
It's just based on Scott Wilson's guesswork fwiw.
-
Probably. Whether they'd sanction such a move, given the budget they'll be working in and the amount of players they require is a different matter.

Big club debates are a complete waste of energy. Everyone will have their own subjective metrics of what a "big club" is.
