SJP needs to be bouncing for this. If the Southsmpton SF is anything to go by it'll be an atmosphere of nerves though, particularly if Arsenal score first. -

We typically raise our game in these fixtures. Score draw. -
It's possible.
-
We don't get the £20 million until July.
-
We'll give this City team a game.
-
They have final say on spending, etc and will influence the strategic vision of the club, but Eales runs the club day to day.
-
Personally think Eales is a decent communicator. They're damned if they do and damned if they don't.
-
It's more about the engagement he'll get, as opposed to being right.
-
Can't see I'm fussed if he leaves or not. Benefits us either way really.
-
To be fair, that's literally what I said.

Appreciate everything Mandy and her fella did for the club. Without her there would be no takeover, no survival and no Champions League. However, it does appear that our transfer business under their watch was completely unsustainable and left us in a bit of a mess. It seems it was time for the club to continue it's evolution.

By asking difficult questions.

I think it's because fans view PIF the same as they would a company or a corporation. They're a sovereign wealth fund who fund domestic and international projects (with the former taking priority). Do the four Saudi clubs under ownership need a budget to raise the profile of the SPL? Done. Do NUFC need cash to assist them become a more valuable asset? No problem. I'd be surprised if there's that much joined up thinking going into it. Al Nassr will be given a budget and the club will do the rest. The same as NUFC. PIF are passive investors, while Eales, Mitchell, etc run the show.

We're looking rather thin on the ground.

Another rousing atmosphere by the sounds of it. May as well get the new stadium built.

It's very rare to see an obligation not met mind.

Feel sorry him in terms of the lack of squad strengthening.

Are there any players that you don't rate?

It's been a strange old season, but in terms of poor performances, games that really stand out: Fulham 3-1 Newcastle Newcastle 2-0 West Ham Palace 1-1 Newcastle Brentford 4-2 Newcastle Newcastle 1-4 Bournemouth Newcastle 1-2 Fulham We've shown that we'll bully and outplay the cannon fodder or poorly coached sides of the league and we'll raise our game against the teams competing in the Champions League spots, but there's been a strange gray area, filled with rank poor showings. We have really struggled against (generally midtable) organised sides, who aren't physically intimidated by our press and have found ways to get at the back four. As well as being outplayed, these performances have typically appeared low effort and lethargic, with us descending into a tactical mess as the match progresses. It's getting to the stage now where I'm more confident going into Man City away than I was today What's causing it? Fuck knows, but it's becoming a theme this term. While I'm sure it's another challenge that Mr Howe will overcome, it's frustrating when we're in the thick of competing for the top five.
