I don't even think it's an "error" as such. He's one on one with a technically superior attacker who does him with a quality bit of skill. If he doesn't dangle the leg and Olmo bends it in the corner he gets criticised too.

Watching the penalty incident, it's not as bad as I thought. We're in shape, they just manage to get the ball to Olmo who does Thiaw with a lovely bit of skill. -
From PSG onwards he's been class.

Granted we were naive at the end, where was the whistle? -

Played really well there. Sucker punch at the end, but don't see why we can't give them a game at their place. -
Harsh to blame him. He shouldn't be in that position to begin with and is done with a lovely bit of play.
-
The fact anyone would describe him as a donkey tonight shows that he'll never win some folk over. It's pathetic.
-
Played well tonight, had Cancelo on toast. Played loads of good balls in, only complaint is the one he played a bit late before he came off.

Anyway, enough of this nonsense, into these independence seeking, Gaudi loving, superstar producing cunts.

When costs get too high, fans will vote for their feet. Ultimately you pay for a membership to enter a lottery with a circa 15% success rate, to gain access to a £70+ ticket. The product is a game, played by a club that is owned by a sovereign wealth fund of another state and restricted by the influence of a cartel within the competitions it competes. Even putting that aside, domestic games have become data-driven, percentage-based snooze-fests where you can never really get too swept away with emotion in case a video referee decided to intervene and snatch the moment away. I don't have access to nor can I afford many games these days, which is a shame because I'd love to take the lad. I'll be cancelling my subscriptions at the end of the CL campaign. I'll see if I can be arsed next season.

We'd have had Bournemouth, Villa, City and Liverpool

Branthwaite is becoming a bit of a sick note, shame.
-
He's had an unreliable keeper behind him, an aging full back to cover and a make shift midfield in front of him. On top if that he's barely had a rest all season. Thiaw has had a very good debut season in English football, all things considered.
-
Thiaw has been fine, the need to shit on everything is bizarre.
-
The club can say no.
-
What if he's looking to evolve how his teams play?
-
Those players did also benefit from far versions of Pope and Trippier, along with a settled midfield in front of them.
