The fact he gets down faster than an arthritis patient and doesn't wait ten minutes to distribute the ball makes him superior to Harper, even if he does have a lot to learn.
-
Should be a priority to tie him down on a lengthy deal, would love him to see his career out with us.
-
Krul still has improvements to make but he's a superior keeper to Harper, pretty poor if Pardew benches him as soon as the latter recovers, especially now we're all but safe.

Bullshit. Loan would be perfect. It would be if it had a buy clause after so many games written into the loan contract. He will never be good enough to be a 1st XI Prem player. Give it a rest. He is a young player with raw talent, and has shown how good could he can be from time to time. We have basically nothing to win by selling him. May loose a future good/decent player for nowt. Stupid. He must be good at hiding it.
-
Hopefully Pards will be saying that to the players now as well. Be serious. AP's already at Tup Tup. Don't be daft, he's all about Koosday.

As long as you ain't Japanese.

Blackpool are in free fall so we should be looking to win, I think we'll nick it.

Krul 8 - Did everything asked of him, controlled his area well too. Simpson 6 - Put in a shift, bit sloppy in possession. Williamson 7.5 - Excellent for the most part apart from the odd shaky moment Colo 8 - Class personified. Enrique 8 - Large pockets, kept both Nani and Valencia in there for the most part. Barton 7 - Great first half, went missing for parts of the second. Guthrie 7.5 - Had a good game, kept us ticking along nicely. Tiote 7.5 - Did what he does, best broke up play brilliantly, needless booking mind. Jonas 8.5 - Had the beating of O'Shea all night, covered Enrique brilliantly too. My man of the match. Shola 6 - Gave both centre halves a decent ariel battle, comical on the ground at times. Lovenkrands 7 - His best game in ages, missed a sitter but but in a fantastic shift, could of had a penalty too.
-
Played like a man who can't wait to jump ship at the first oppertunity.

Had a decent game. As long as he's never played in the same line up as Nolan ever again he'll make a canny squad player.

The writing was on the wall once Neil had bet on the same sides, ah well, only puts a small dent in what has been a very rare but profitable weekend. -

Gah, Dortmud 3-0, could of been so much better. Better than a kick up the arse though. -

Wahey, got my first big win on the football accys for a while yesterday, Chelsea, Everton, Reading and Brighton. I planned to return to my losing ways today with a treble of: Dortmund -1 Levante Marseille ...but for some reason the site wouldn't let me take Dortmund. Just done the double instead. -
He'll probably make a decent Championship career for himself with a bit of experience.

No footballing brain, weak in the air and no goal scoring instinct. The lad will never make it at this level.
-
Cheers lads.

Do you honestly think it's wise to trim the squad given how woefully short it's proven to have been through recent matches? REPLACE! With what money? As it is the Carroll cash needs investing in the fees/wages of a couple of quality front men and a genuine winger, that's before you start flogging what we already have. Last i checked Xisco and Loven were strikers ergo by your own words will be replaced. The fact that Xisco and campbell rarely trouble the teamsheet means they wont exactly be missed to start with, their wages however are a large drain on the club. As far I'm concerned we only possess three strikers capable of netting at this level, two of them have previous in the injury department, if nothing else Lovenkrands provides a bit of depth.

Do you honestly think it's wise to trim the squad given how woefully short it's proven to have been through recent matches? Sol Campbell and James Perch are not good enough, simple as. If we sign a couple of strikers, and play one up front, Lovenkrands will be redundant. I'm aware how poor they are but it takes time to build quality squad. Smith is dreadful too but we're in an unfortunate position where we can't afford to ship him in case anything happens to Tiote/Nolan.
