  1. It's not FFP, it's a set of financial rules that La Liga approved a year ago that are similar in spirit to the FFP but apply to La Liga. Net debt can't be above turnover, 70% wages/to turnover ratio and others. Punishment goes from transfer embargos to relegation. fcking hell, will real madrid meet that? http://www.sportbusiness.com/news/184339/real-madrid-hits-revenue-record-to-slash-debts They must make a fuck tonne in the Asian market alone.
  2. 31? Feels like he's been around about 15 years already Isn't far off it, been playing for Madrid since 1999 and Spain since 2000. With the likes of Van Der Sar and Friedel showing that goalkeepers can be class even when they hit 40, no reason why he can't hit 200.

  4. I doubt the combined transfer fees of Wigan and Swansea squads matched Andy Carroll and Suarez though. I'm sure if Wigan and Swansea were given 57 million pounds to spend on strikers they could've managed more goals.

Genuinely just realise that this can be applied to their entire prefered back-line. Ferguson's face must've just lit up whenever Steve Bruce's and Roy Keanes numbers popped up on the caller ID when they were managers of Sunderland. Daylight robbery.
  6. FYP. The FA/UEFA in 2005 should've just stuck to the precedent that was set in 2000 when Real Madrid won and finished 5th, where Zaragoza got knocked down to the UEFA Cup.
  7. Hey, when in Rome... (or in this case, when in Munich)
  8. Surely the fact that the manager of the second biggest club in Wales wants nothing to do with the Scousers is a 97th minute injury time goal for Parky?
  9. http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=293633.msg10333141#msg10333141 That place really does some top class indoctrination, this guy post on any Newcastle boards?
  10. http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=45345.240 ITS ALL DAVID MOORES FAULT!
  11. Don't forget the new shirt sponsorship.
  12. If it isn't Martinez, will be Rodgers. FSG apparently wanted a young manager last time around, but the decent form under Kenny (along with fan pressure) forced them to make the Grand Dragons appoint permanent. Should've got Villa Boas when they had the chance, he would've flourished IMO without the English Lion JT trying backstab him at every opportunity and the chance to spunk 100 million on his own choices.
  13. They didn't sack Carroll, Henderson, Adam and Downing at the same time so I'm sure there'll be a few more laughs. Carroll and Henderson with the right manager could both be very decent players... too bad for Liverpool that the sort of managers who could get results out of them want nothing to do with that shitstorm.
  14. Fingers crossed it's just Derek eating the loose fries from the bottom of the McDonalds bag and we're finally free of the prick.
  15. The Russell Crowe Show Theme Look's like we got a star for the Second Season...
  16. Some nice security right there.... Imagine if they lost
  17. Manchester is going to burn tonight
  18. A Mourinho style formation, like it.
  19. Wasn't Pardew saying we already had a deal for a CB already done?
  20. He's got a problem with everyone tbh, even his own club which he has slated over and over. Can't even get on with his own brother for more than half a day, says it all really. I think that might be more down to Liam then Noel to be honest...
  21. He was 25 years old at the time - been in England for 4 years. Had shown the potential to be 1 of the best players in his position in the league but was at a club he had only ever known as a mid table side at best and they seemed intent on selling all their best players (most supporters were aiming the same criticisms at the board as he was). With one year left on his contract he had a choice: commit a few more of the best years of his career to a mid table side seemingly destined for more chaos and tipped by some pundits for a relegation battle. head to a side showing a lot more ambition - throwing a lot of money around and talking about a title challlenge. He just made the same choice that anyone who came to this country to play football would make. It just so happened that his judgment in believing the pre-season hype around Liverpool (and ourselves) was terrible. I'd hardly blame him for that He should have seen that the likes of Ba, Hatem and Cabaye were fucking class in training and perfectly good replacements for Carroll, Nolan and Barton. Hatem was injured, Ba looked average until the end of September, and besides, Shola apparently looks like Pele in training, so it would have been retarded to make that call based on pre season 5 a side kick abouts.
  22. You do know that NESV don't actually own the whole of Boston right?
  23. Real Madrid fans boo everyone. They were booing Mourinho when Real Madrid had just won 4-1 and were 7 points clear in the La Liga. Maybe if they spent more time cheering yesterday, instead of whistling and booing everytime Bayern held onto the ball for more then 30 seconds Madrid might've had more an edge.
