No, it just means your an idiot. Please don't tell me you can't see the difference between that and saying "my sources say Chris Hughton will soon be sacked and replaced by Alan Pardew"
  2. Spain hosted in 1982, we last hosted in 1966 so they might not moan as loudly as we are. It looks like the Americans and Australians are having a good moan and they have every right to moan considering who won in the same group. What have Qatar done to host a World Cup? You can't dismiss the history of countries that have been competing for years as if that was worthless. Without the game being played historically we wouldn't have a future, we'll have a footballing future without Qatar. You shouldn't have to do anything to host the World Cup. As long as you can convince the delegates that you can produce and run a successful, safe, and entertaining World Cup you should be just as eligible as anyone else. I don't understand how not hosting the tournament since 1966 bears any importance when competing with an established nation on the World stage which has never hosted the event. This is a joke post right? Some troll attempt? You shouldn't have to do anything to host the World Cup? Seriously, read over that nonsense again. You should prove your bid is better then the rest, Qatar haven't done so, FIFA even savaged their bid in their own reports calling it high risk. Are you seriously niave enough to think that Qatar the World Cup was based on anything other then some oil monies ending up in the pockets of Blatter, Warner and friends? And Qatar is an established nation on the World Stage? GTFO. It is a population of 1.6 million, of which only 200,000 are actually from the place, the other 1.4 million are ex-pats there for a quick buck and slaves who are there for no buck. It was nothing 20 years ago, in 20 years ago it will be nothing again. It has no stadiums, no facilities other then a couple of silly youtube videos, no proven experience at hosting any thing bigger then a couple of poxy tennis tournaments and B-Team Football Friendlies. 13000 9000 12000 Those are the crowd numbers of Qatars qualifying games in the last World Cup. What a joke of a nation, what a joke of a bid, what a joke of a world cup it will be. The Wellington Phoenix in the A-League get bigger crowds then that on a weekly basis. And were a shitty club team from New Zealand where Soccer probably ranks at best as the 5th most popular sport How about England vs Brazil last year , Khalifa stadium 14th November, match attendance 50,000.? http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/match/3095739 I think I said something about B-Team friendlies somewhere. Oh, that's right, in the post you just quoted. Look, you even bolded it for me That's it, you've 100% confirmed it. Baba be trolling. "The idea of the "best results" is subjective as you're talking from a white European perspective." That's right, it's just us racist Europeans, using such bigoted and silly criteria such as you know, the amount of stadiums you have, whether you have a population bigger then say Auckland New Zealand and expecting, you know, the winning nation to not have the worst technical bid (as stated by FIFA's own damn reports). Please, tell us, what criteria should us pack of bed-sheet wearing bastards really be judging Qatar's bid by? Which Qatar doesn't, Fifa rules say you can't have more then 2 stadiums in a single city. You have 3 in Doha and 4 in Al-Rayyan (Which is actually just a suberb of Doha) Such as FIFA's own technical report giving Qatar a High Risk rating (the only bid from either 2018 or 2022), while all the other 2022 bids had a low risk rating? Well, FIFA's failed on both those count.

  4. Maybe you should do some research on human rights before posting stuff like that. Do you care to elaborate? Say ex. a middle eastern country that won't allow women to attend football matches, or dress the way they want etc, then clearly they aren't capable of hosting a WC as many women would want to go to the WC and dress the way they want. My point stands for now. Your point is mildly retarded. Compare the bids of Australia, USA and Qatar side by side. You know it, I know it, there is no way you can justify Qatars bid over those two. They both had Qatar beat for the economic side of things, the football side of things, the infrastructure and stadium side of things and proven experience in hosting successfully major events.
  5. Yeah.... that's what some people thought about Japan/Korea. I've been to J-league and K-league games prior to the 2002 World Cup and the atmosphere at those games were good actually. I guess it was ignorance/lack of knowledge about those countries that brought them to that 'conclusion'. There's no way you can compare Japan and Korea with their infrastructure, population base and their (relative to Qatars at leats) soccer background that both have in place, something Qatar don't. Qatar are also a decent electric car away from becoming bankrupt overnight.
  6. No we wouldn't, Redknapp would've walked out 6 months earlier then Keegan did.
  7. It's all fine now, Inter beat a Dutch team 1-0 at home... RAWK has now informed me Rafa is still a genius and better then "Maureen" (Their pet name for the Special One, gotta love that Scouser Wit)
  8. I could possibly see an arguement for discounting penalties, but free kicks? If anything, free kick goals should held in a higher regard, much harder than your average tap in or header past the keeper from 8 yards away.
  9. One of the reasons I lol at "If only we had hired Redknapp instead of Keegan" Harry would've been out the door and back down to London two weeks into the job the second that first January window slammed shut and Chris Mort walked in saying "Sorry we didn't buy anyone, by the way, we've bought Dennis Wise in to do all the transfers"
  10. I'm in need of a good laugh... time to see what the high priests of the Cult of Rafa have to say on RAWK. Laugh Achieved.
  11. I'll start calling it Football when you start doing it... http://sharetv.org/images/soccer_am_uk-show.jpg
  12. He can fuck off back where he came from then. The yanks are the only nation with less of an idea of what sports clubs are really about than we do, we've already gone too far down that route. Don't a lot of them change their support/alliegences after the draft or summink. Could be wrong. Yeah, cos lord know's English Soccer doesn't have that problem.
  13. I wouldn't exactly call relegation, having to get special dispentation to sign players just to fill out a full team and still a potential free fall to league 1 as getting away with it.
  14. Yeah, naming a team after the Basketball team from the city of New Yorks blood rival in all sports probably won't win over your average Knicks and Yankees fan.
  15. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/owner-insists-he-will-not-throw-money-at-liverpool-2109459.html I love life sometimes. "Are you Ashley in disguise?!" I'm not going to lie... I think I would have to change my pants if they appointed Dennis Wise. Dennis Wise/Sam Allardyce dream team? We were 3 weeks away from getting it at Newcastle.
  16. Worst team gets the best draft? Then what is the point to even try to win games once you're safe? In America that threat of losing your job motivates you too keep winning even when your out of play-off contention. That late season surge that turns a 4-12 season into 7-9 can be the difference between keeping your job as head coah or getting fired and having to become the Oakland Raiders QB coach and rebuild your reputation again. In Europe that would concept would still apply - the difference between 17th place and 12th can be a job saver. Although as outlined above the draft system wouldn't work, but not for that reason.
  17. Dont man Dave you just know the usual suspects will be in here with there praise of Sir Mike. And the Cronky Express arrived right on schedule.
  18. http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=521750&page=6 2 parts to every one part Could someone tell the U.S there's oil in Sunderland so they'd invade the place? Get a few warcrimes going against some of the dipshits in that thread, cleanse the human genepool a little bit. Although tbf, as if with many of the threads there, once the mongs have their say and it get's past their bedtimes, decent discussions occur.
  19. Obviously not mine, but saw it on another forum and lol'd http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs312.ash2/59275_443498608672_512743672_5125994_4102581_n.jpg
  20. Surely even they wont have forgotten about St Michael of England so in between bent and shack how many england scorers have nufc had........ owen shearer beardsley ferdinand lee macdonald any more ? Andy Cole? Did Dyer ever score?
  21. to be honest if it went to a divorce court he'd have a decent case that she'd be worth sod all without his name. In a world where a former psycho former call girl who was born 8 years after the Beatles released their first album can get 25 million pounds from Paul McCartney, i'm sure Coleen Rooney would be able to take her whoring husband to the cleaners.
  22. Isn't his wife worth 10 million in her own right? She has no reason to stick around - take half of Wayne, plus what she's already made on her own. That's what I'd do. Wonder if she would be into 21 year old students from New Zealand?
  23. Aye pretty much every team abroad has had success that way. It works as long coach and DOF are closely working together. When we had Keegan and Wise here, it was just a complete joke. Wise as DOF?!! Aye, Mourinho worked under a DOF at Chelsea, didn't he? It was preety much like Keegan and Wise from memory. Jose had been there for a year, won the Premiership. Arnesen comes in, as (supposedly) a glorified head scout, starts to exert influence after a while and Mourinho eventually tell's them where to shove it. Example A : The collosal fuck up that was Shevchenko... all that was mostly Cousin Roman. Same thing happened at Tottenham with Jol. Levy finally learnt his lesson, and now they are in the Champions League. Arnesen is still there though and Chelsea are still winning trophies. With a team preety much much built around Jose's players or players that pre-dated them both.
