  1. I don't know if it's just because it hasn't hit me yet, but I'm a lot less devastated than I thought I would be. Maybe I was just resigned to it.
  2. I glanced at the thread title just then and mis-read it, for a glorious moment I thought it said "post-match" and it was all over.
  3. The last two nights I've had dreams about this game. The first night, we got tanked 3-0. Last night, we won 7-4, and I played. You decide.
  4. don't go then. Already tried that one, but the others I'm going with reminded me that it was my (stupid) idea.
  5. Putting 4 past Villa in the last game of the season. Back in reality... I must've blanked this season completely because I can barely remember any of the moments mentioned in this thread. For that reason, it'll have to be Martins goal against Boro, since I remember actually being happy (and celebrating like fuck). This season =
  6. Doug Ellis Upper, Block P9, Row NN, Seat 77/78/79/80. Bricking it, wish I wasn't going.
  7. Same here. Not looking forward to it one bit. And I don't think we'll get a result (sorry).

    Has Apathy Now Set in?

I've been expecting the worst for some months But still feel gut-wrenched. Betrayed. I had a really bad feeling about the match yesterday. That turned out correct. This.
  9. Rubbed - vigorously.

    Those flags.

I've acquired one that my mate left round ours after the match, might take it along if he doesn't reclaim it. It'll look out of place in L7 though..
  11. Got them all in the end (though did have help from a couple of people at work), took ages to get the last one, which was Bradford.
  12. He fully deserved to be punished for what he did.. but I do feel bad for him.
  13. I actually have no voice this morning. What a fucking night though.
  14. Slag! If it means 3 points...
  15. Rubbed, and I did a good job too.
  16. Oh god. There's no way I'm going to have time between work & the match to get drunk enough for this.
  17. I was meant to go to that gig, had to sell my tickets at the last minute though. The testimonal was extremely cheesy, but fun.
  18. This I don't mind, but some people sitting around me must live in very fucking inconvenient places as they seem to have to leave early regardless of whether it's a 12pm, 3pm, 5.15pm or 8pm kick off.
  19. Got a treble on Leeds, Bolton & Stoke. Was never going to be a good idea.
  20. This. Perhaps the rules should be changed, and I do feel bad for him since it was obvious very soon after the card that it was a bad decision, but the rules shouldn't be changed at this stage in the season just because one particular team is inconvenienced. (Anyway, back to basics, I hate Man U, so ner ner)
  21. We'll win 4-1. Ha, no we won't. It'll be another piss poor boring 0-0.
  22. It was quite funny like. Really, this is terrible. I knew I shouldn't have given up football years ago, I could've walked into this Sunderland side. [/exaggeration]
  23. I remember him mentioning them coming in a car, but don't remember him swearing - though tbf as swearing doesn't really bother me, I'd probably only notice the word 'fucking' if it was my mam or gran saying it. I know it's all just a bit of banter, but it was a little harsh having a go at their fans as I doubt many people would fancy a Monday night trip to Portsmouth when it's on the TV.
  24. I have to say, those planes got really f***ing tiresome in the end. Especially when someone had clearly ran out of paper and decided to lob a bottle off the back of my head instead. Mean. It hurt! I can laugh about it now, but after watching about 88 minutes of last night's game I was not amused.
