This I don't mind, but some people sitting around me must live in very fucking inconvenient places as they seem to have to leave early regardless of whether it's a 12pm, 3pm, 5.15pm or 8pm kick off.

Got a treble on Leeds, Bolton & Stoke. Was never going to be a good idea.

Darren Fletcher - Should he be able to play in the final?
Jill replied to Liam Liam Liam O's topic in Football
This. Perhaps the rules should be changed, and I do feel bad for him since it was obvious very soon after the card that it was a bad decision, but the rules shouldn't be changed at this stage in the season just because one particular team is inconvenienced. (Anyway, back to basics, I hate Man U, so ner ner) -
We'll win 4-1. Ha, no we won't. It'll be another piss poor boring 0-0.

It was quite funny like. Really, this is terrible. I knew I shouldn't have given up football years ago, I could've walked into this Sunderland side. [/exaggeration]

I remember him mentioning them coming in a car, but don't remember him swearing - though tbf as swearing doesn't really bother me, I'd probably only notice the word 'fucking' if it was my mam or gran saying it. I know it's all just a bit of banter, but it was a little harsh having a go at their fans as I doubt many people would fancy a Monday night trip to Portsmouth when it's on the TV.

I have to say, those planes got really f***ing tiresome in the end. Especially when someone had clearly ran out of paper and decided to lob a bottle off the back of my head instead. Mean. It hurt! I can laugh about it now, but after watching about 88 minutes of last night's game I was not amused.

I said that. It was cringeworthy as f***. I felt like a Bolton or Wigan supporter. This. Said at the time it was going to come back to haunt us as it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference to the team's performance.

Can't even imagine how many goals they will score against us. Bang goes our goal difference.

Done. I love those.

Brilliant idea, think I'll go to that.

Summed it up perfectly. They're a decent professional service (esp. from the point of view of no last minute cancellations or anything) but I'll not be using them again unless absolutely necessary. The "comfort breaks" on the way home from matches are the worst, when you just want to get home and you're at some shite services for an hour.

Well I've made the decision today that I'm definitely, definitely renewing. The only thing that was going to stop me would be money, but fuck it, I'm definitely going to do it. Just been sorting through some old stuff at my mam's and the amount of Newcastle-related stuff was unreal - match tickets, old season ticket books, programmes, scarves, shirts - and I couldn't bring myself to bin any of it. I love my club. :smitten:

Been twice to Villa and never been in a decent pub yet, so will have to watch this thread carefully. Already had to rule out the train due to the cost, so as I don't like coach trips very much I'll be very ready for a good pub once I get there.

Nah that's rank. Not that I buy them anyway like.

My boyfriend reckons he saw him driving down Stowell Street the other day. Daft sod didn't even follow him or get a photo!

I watched the "Hillsborough" drama this morning and it was really upsetting. So frightening to think that if it had've been one of our games, it could've been my dad, uncle etc. I don't think what Itandje did was particularly bad, but he should've known better and just kept his head down like everyone else managed to.

Aye tbh. He has walked away from Newcastle. He could have stayed until the summer. I am sure had he done that then he would have got his move then. Manchester City would have come back in then with a bid that we would of accepted. However he chose to leave in the middle of the season. I have not forgotten that he gave us all those years of wonderful service, but I do feel strongly that a few more months would not have killed him. So I don't want his opinion on Newcastle's situation now. This.

Our birthdays are fairly close so I'm going with this as I can't be arsed to carry out my own investigations.
