If you're going to do that you might as well just keep it open then as you're still going to have to build over it. There's only really a constructional/logistical benefit if you can just fill the whole thing in with concrete.

West Ham have an option to extend Rice's deal by a year btw, so it's basically two years left.
-
If he can get 3 more for double figures we'll have 3 players with double figures in the league. Wonder when was the last time we had that in the top flight. Certainly don't think it's happened in the PL era.

FiveThirtyEight have Brighton ahead of both Spurs and Liverpool at the moment for the top four. -
Everton are so bad. A team full of players who can win the ball but are physically incapable of doing anything with it.

Good lord remove that photo

Seems like Palace massively deserve it just based on stats. Amazing how bad Leicester are at the moment mind.

Been superb all season IMO.

Yup.

Pre-season (2025/26) - NUFC to play Atletico Madrid in Sela Cup

Decent, never been to Ibrox for a game so chuffed with that tbh. -
Gillespie doesn't count. Wasn't on the books for NUFC at all between 16 and 21. Anderson wouldn't be named until the following season - but obviously you would be able to play him anyway so makes no practical difference. Krul and Forster would be a reasonable move however if Karius was to leave this summer.
-
Basically it's not a massive issue if you have a load of good youngsters anyway to fill in the squad. Plus getting by with 21/22 named players in the CL isn't the end of the world. However still better if you can fill those spots.
-
Anderson would not have to be named in the squad anyway as he is born after January 1 2002. He would be on List B of U21 players which sits outside the squad and is unlimited.
-
In Europe you also need four club grown players of those 8. If you don't have them you just have to name a smaller squad. At the moment we've only got Longstaff and Dummett so if Dummett went we'd have to have 3 empty spots in European squad (22/25).

He was at Whitley for a bit last season straight from the Alliance and didn't do anything of note so it's surprised me how much he has banged them in the division below. Admittedly we were a bit of a shambles and he didn't get much of a run.

Aiden Rutledge scored 6 tonight for Birtley in NL Div 2 to take his total for the season to 55.

Yeah I'd cancel it and see what happens. I was on the £1 a month deal, it went back up to £8 so I cancelled. They offered it at £2 a month for another year so I signed up again.

I dunno like, Rehhagel is regularly regarded as one of the best international managers ever for that achievement.

Ronnie couldn't resist a qualifying campaign against Liechtenstein and Luxembourg, shameless

Also unlike a lot of North American owners they have got involved in football because of how different it is to American sports. The football pyramid system of promotion/relegation and the way clubs are wedded to their communities are basically the main things that attracted McElhenney to look to buy a club in the first place.

Welcome to Wrexham is brilliant. I have no issue whatsoever with them tbh. Their ownership model is a million times better than most who get involved in lower league clubs, particularly compared to the absolute shite that Wrexham have been through. And they both come across brilliantly on the show.
-
I've always thought Grealish was overrated but to be honest I think he's been brilliant every time I've seen him this season. Far more influential for City than just the stats would suggest.
-
Chelsea still have to play Man City, Arsenal and Man United all away too.
