What were the last 2 goals like? EDIT: Ffs, they were 2 crackers aswell. I watched nearly 90 minutes of that poor game and then when my stream goes off near the end and I miss 2 great goals.

Chile missing alot of big players in this line-up. No Suazo, Sanchez, Fernandez, Vidal, Mark Gonzalez. I don't think they're all sure fire starters but I'd say they're some of their most talented players.
-
Inter will release him, and Real will condone the rest of the Sneijder transfer and throw a few extra million in the Maicon transfer. Not a big deal. I bloody hope Maicon doesn't go to Real.
-
Wonder if they'll be able to retain the atmosphere? The sheer intensity there must ensure Athletic a few extra points every season. Although it's not really the fortress it once was.
-
Aye I'm gonna give them a watch for a bit (longer if it's canny). Currently got an Alexis Sanchez sticker on my door so I reckon he'll do well. Bam Bam to get all 26 in a comprehensive Chile victory, hopeful. Man, Zamorano. I was only 8/9 when he left Inter, but I remember liking him so he's one of the main reasons when I really got into football about '03 I adopted Inter as my Italian team.

Chile should be a decent watch tonight. Bielsa should be credited for his very adventurous (but slightly suicidal) tactics. They should be one of the more entertaining sides at the World Cup, some of their players are certainly worth looking out for, Alexis Sanchez and Matias Fernadez are particularly good.
-
I'd expect whoever we play out wide to give them fullbacks a good raping. Reckon Davies will be a big loss to you aswell, thought he looked a canny player.
-
Releasing Koren and replacing him with Reid, downgrade imo. Especially considering Reid's legs are very likely to fall off.
-
So it was bollocks anyway then.
-
About as many as will be supporting them. US have bought the highest amount of World Cup tickets.
-
or even players like Arteta, Gianni Van Bronckhorst, Tugay, Barry Ferguson, Amaruso and Gattuso? And that's just from Rangers! Aye, because they're all currently strutting their stuff for the Gers aren't they?
-
Aye, the World Cup game has it permanently and it's one of those shit but catchy tunes that gets stuck.

Loan Ranger out, flog Best, then sign Boyd on a free and buy somebody like Colunga/Soldado if we could afford it. Carroll Boyd Lovenkrands Shola Another signing. I'd be relatively happy with that going into next season. Infact even selling Shola to a Championship side to raise funds would be worthwhile, because there is always Nolan to play as a second striker, and if we're very lucky Vuckic might have some sort of breakthrough. Whatever happens we're gonna struggle for goals though.

Panic over.

Meh, I aint over the moon, but I wouldn't be too dissapointed. The worrying thing is is he's likely to be our only attacker signed over the course of the window.
-
Saw Colunga come on and score agsint both Real Madrid and Barca. Looked very lively with a good eye for goal.

Stolen from elsewhere, but: http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm225/Xeneize22_photo/inter_airplane.png

Saw the highlights for that before, first viewing of the North Koreans. The guy that got a mention on here the other day, Jong Tae-Se, scored a couple of absolute crackers - superb power and technique. Was very impressed.

Yeah man it was great. I remember after the Barca - Chelsea game that season Mourinho moaning that it aided your players in being able to pick passes out easier. Low and behold, Chelsea's away strip not long after:

For some random reason blue-yellow-orange are the colors we use in our away kits (well, the orange is an homage to Holland's NT) http://www.barcaloco.com/page/show/138040-kit-history The Kappa kits in the 1990s, I have a few of them I have the centenary one with Rivaldo on the back and the 05/06 flourescent away shirt. '06 Champions league final I remember all the ridiculous yellow mixed in with the traditional Barca colours amongst the fans, it looked great.

Any reason why he was left out of the WC squad, I thought he was meant to be pretty good? Don't really follow the Portuguese league but didn't Pedro Mendes get in their squad ahead of him? EDIt: Infact, Ze Castro got in ahead of him aswell, and he's dogshit.
-
Yeah, I always thought he looked crazily out of place at Valencia. He was surrounded by lots of technically gifted, mostly Spanish, attacking midfielders/wingers who all like to get the ball down and play. Don't think they were ever gonna get the best out of him and mainly only had him as a sort of 'plan B'. Still though, it signals a big statement of intent that Birmingham are getting themselves a leading international #9 for probably one of the dark horses for the World Cup. He should do well in England if they utilise him. Incidently, when this deal goes through Valencia will be left with precisely 0 recognised strikers. They're gonna be having a busy transfer markert for sure.

He was on loan to Racing last season and banged them in again, 13 in 19 for a team like Racing is a great record. I'd say he's poor technically, but he's probably one of the best out and out target men in the game. 6 foot 8 and as you'd expect a bit of a tank in the air, he wins everything. So for what Birmingham are signing him for, he'll almost certainly do an effective job.
