  1. It's mad how they've basically changed the whole team except for CBs
  2. It's mad how after Bournemouth have been raided so much for defenders Semenyo has stayed. Still think he was their best player last year.
  3. This lad was supposed to end up at Villa but they couldn't do the deal because of PSR. I'm sure he'd have played for them. Just another that City have hoovered up and farmed straight out - add that to the plethora of CBs they beat us to in January just because (Khusanov, Bah, Reis). I know we're doing the same with the likes of Cordero but I think it's the level of these players that annoys me - they'd easily start for other PL/Serie A/La Liga teams.
  4. Saudi league spending is mental Buy him for £50 million, goal a game for two years, then pay £25 million to get him off the books.
  5. I'd say so potentially. From what I read it was either or in terms of who they were going to sell.
  6. The worry would be if El Khannous is the backup and his release clause expires Friday, and even if he doesn't stay at Villa they would probably want to drag it out until then so he can't play Saturday.
  7. £40 million seems overpriced to me but as always I trust Edward
  8. The only thing that jumps to mind immediately would be if San Diego FC played Club Tijuana in CONCACAF?

Sounds like they'll get him for similar to what we are paying for Thiaw. Good deal really. Personally if I'm Palace I'd rather just keep him for another year.
  10. Obviously I'd trust Howe but I'm not a massive fan tbh.
  11. Brentford have a Korean CB too but he's gone out on loan to the Bundes
  12. If we do sign him along with Thiaw and Wissa, it shows a re-affirmation that the 30-35 million price tag is our sweet spot and preferred MO. Cheap enough that they can quote easily double in value, low enough that you can not make much of a PSR loss if they don't quite work out and sell in a couple of years.
  13. Technical attacking midfielder with good dribbling ability. Can play wide but I think he'd be more likely to be a more attacking #8 for us or in a #10 if we adapt the system slightly. Definitely gives us a bit more options in midfield without breaking the bank too much. Great age profile. If we can't get the top drawer talent we're aiming for im personally buzzing for us to just move for players like that instead.
  14. Think El Khannous could be a really smart signing.
  15. We did exactly the same thing in the last two Sela cups though

Really hate how that cunt is on everything.
  17. Why can't they get better players in? I don't understand this. Blyth are a very big club in the division they now find themselves in.

  19. This Blyth situation is becoming ridiculous, although grimly predictable the moment that owner rocked up. Redcar had some money behind them on the NL but they're still newly promoted. Surely they can't go down again? Spartans in the NL would be horrendous for non league football in the north east.
  20. I'm at Workington Vs Whitby. Incredible old school ground that is scheduled for redevelopment soon. Get down before they do, it's like a time warp. On the other side Whitley have decided to go on a title charge now I'm away for 6 months.

There's no way Milan wouldn't have charged us more than they did Como. So this is irrelevant IMO My worry was they wouldn't sell at all given Allegri is now a fan, but clearly they are happy too
